I put BBC 2 on Friday night and the Arctic Monkeys were on.
I went to see the Monkeys earlier this year at the Leadmill in Sheffield and in my opinion, they were a piss poor live band....
...but they raised their fucking game on Friday. Still not the best live band but it was a good set.

I was basically gawping at Rodrigo y Gabriela last night, absolutely phenomenal.
Watched Iggy and John Fogerty on BBC Four.....brilliant, loved every second of Iggy. Was quietly impressed by Amy Winehouse on Friday as well.
As for everyone mentioned, I saw the Arctics last year, and there is something about them where I just don't see them quite as headliners yet. They put on a decent show though, what I saw of the Killers was basically just....the usual Killers, if you like them you'll love it, if you don't it looked and sounded shit and I was really unimpressed by Weller, and I absolutely love the guy.
Yeah the Killers were good, still dont like much on the new album though

Saw The Killers set on TV last night, thought the bass sounded horrific in some parts, other wise, ok performance, didn't really grab me as a headline performance though. Caught a bit of Editors, Maximo Park, Biffy Clyro and The Pigeon Detectives...looked awesome.
Got to see Rodrigo y Gabriela live last weekend, they're amazing.

I've been reading reports that the sound at The Pyramid Satge was fucked, so that could be why I thought The Killers didnt sound too good.

Outdoor gigs sound bad enough being there, but they sound absolutely shit on the TV.
