United By Fate is definitely one of the best impulse buys I've ever made though, brilliant album.

I had only heard one track a couple of times on MTV and decided to buy the album when i randomly saw it in a store. Thank heavens I did.

I'm listening to some samples of it at the mo, and the vocalist sounds like E, from the Eels, and Ken Andrews, from Failure. That's not a bad thing. I may check them out.

But as I already have a backlog of 7 albums to get through, and now the urge to buy some ken Andrews stuff (like his year of the rabbit album), it could be a while. It will be placed on "The List," a magical place where albums I want wait to be bought.

"used for Glue" is a fantastic song. I wish bands like this would stay together for longer than one fucking album. Fuck it they gave me one of my favourite albums ever so I'm pretty happy. Also "Undercovers On" is incredible.

according to thier wikipedia page they played new material during their european tour. i gotta see if there are any live recordings out there. i thought that they were still looking for a label and were currently unsigned. i still listen to United by Fate on a regular basis.

I saw them when they reformed, they played 2 new songs I think and a pointless How Soon Is Now cover, they were really good though, seing Far this month too.
