Ahh the fondness of the memory of your first favorite wrestler, that ONE guy you remember as a kid and was the reason you started watching before the rest of the WWF(at the time) took over your impressionable little mind. For me this was none other then the man we call jake roberts. He may not be so much now a days but back in his heyday he was the man and even tho he never held a title really, he desreved at least the IC title. Im not bitching that he was underused because he wasnt at all, he was well respected backstage, so i ask whats your favorite jake roberts moment? in ring or out of ring as he was a master on the stick.
In ring my fav moment was easly the randy savage attack with a cobra. A Venomoid snake (Venomoid=venom gland removed) but that didnt matter, he owned that segement more then i bet he anticipated with the way he and that snake looked at the end with him standing behind the cobra and jsut looking as menacing, if not more, then the cobra itself.
Fav out of ring moment has to be any of the snake pits. I think he was far ahead of his time with his words during these and really as a child, made me believe his evil like preachings as they were wrapped in a good wholesome moral that was explained a lil diffrently lol.
Jake roberts, fucking diss the shit out of him if you want cause i do myself (who has the "say no to drugs" pic of him lol?) but he IS the fucking man and really did have a BIG impact on the early days of in ring psychology. Discuss
