Pretty morbid stuff I know, but well worth a read. The Sun here in the UK have compiled this comprehensive list of those wrestlers who've passed away prematurely in the last decade.

Here it is:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2003560001-2007310067,00.html

The comments at the bottom of the page, the usual you get from wrestle-phobes, are infuriating but I suppose they're what you should expect whenever wrestling gets mainstream exposure.

Someone also said the Dynamite Kid is missing of the list, which is a bit bloody harsh.

Also that pic is pretty depressing how it describes Benoit and Guerrero both being dead within 3 years. Two of my fave wrestlers right there.

In fact the whole list is pretty damn sad. :(

Yeah, sorry if it made it seem like I was saying he's dead, he isn't indeed.

I just think it's harsh that soemone seems to think he should be on the list!

List does make very, very grim reading though. I didn't even know Hercules was dead. Shocking.

Apart from Mass Transit, I have honestly not heard of any of those other indepenant guys. BTW ROFL:

A lot of these guys probably had a cup of coffee in wrestling, and thats it

A lot of these deaths were not the fault of any wrestling group. Seriously, how could wrestling give you cancer?
