This is always one of the subjects that gets brought up amongst my friends when we're discussing wrestling. We touch back on the Winner Take All match at the 2001 Survivor Series and wonder if the team Vince assembled to represent the WWE would've been the same we would've chosen had we been in his position or one as similar.

So that brings us to the topic. Compose your own Team WWE consisting of the 5 stars that you would want to face an 'invading' force. Use WWE wrestlers only and consider all members of the roster from the Invasion angle to the present barring injuries and what have you. I mean, what if HHH hadn't been injured and stepped up to the plate to fight for the WWE or Kurt Angle never joined the Alliance. Remember, just 5 guys and for what reasons. Should be interesting.

I actually liked the team that WWE fielded for Survivor Series,
Big Show
Taker
Kane
Rock
Jericho
But, as it stands now, I'd probably switch Show with Brock or Benoit

If you had him cloned 4 times and put up against any 5 guys on earth, he would win. Then after the match, have all of them put to sleep, including the original.

I think you and Coldwaver took the topic a tad too far from what it was asking for.

We're both on crack that's why

I will look at this from a "kayfabe" standpoint (i.e. how 'dominant' the bookers have made the wrestlers out to be).

1) Stone Cold Steve Austin: The greatest WWE champion of all-time.

2) Triple H: Even god would be booked to do a clean job to Triple H. What does this say about the other wrestlers?

3) Undertaker: With the exception of Austin and Lesnar, Taker has never jobbed cleanly to anyone if I recall correctly.

4) Brock Lesnar: With the exception of Angle at Summerslam, Lesnar has never tasted defeat on a one-on-one match.

5) Bill Goldberg: How many times has this guy lost one-on-one as a professional wrestler? How many times has he lost cleanly? Now you know why I am picking him.

Savio

Triple H: Jobs to no one.
Brock: Tough guy
(new) Kane: Power house
Goldberg: Rarely loses
Old "school" undertaker: Tough son of a gun

Anyone who excluded Stone Cold Steve Austin is a homosexual (explanation not neccessary).
