Well I keep hearing he was/is a huge draw anywhere in Mexico...but I can't help but think everyone who is slightly well know is a huge draw in Mexico.

Then I've heard he was really big in WCW, and was the second big t-shirt seller. Again, I believe this was when WCW had already stalled out and started dropping in ratings anyhow.

This is what I was getting at yesterday, any given wrestler of Latino descent who has gotten any recognition in a major American promotion gets that title slapped on them. I can't take it seriously at all when I've heard the same phrase "huge draw with latino crowds" used to describe Super Crazy and Juvi.

Recall saw him at a small house show in a gym. I stuck my hand out for a high five and pulled it back, he completely went for it and WHIFF. Was easily one of my proudest moments (cause I have no life).

Konnan is huge in Mexico. He actually was in the Main Event of AAA's when Worlds Collide PPV, which is regarded as one of the ten greatest PPV's of all time.

Super Crazy is fucking amazing and should be El Presidente. :mad:

Juventud is a pretty good wrestler, despite being completely fucking insane.

Hey, I love Super Crazy, and I would rather watch him than Juvi, Konnan, or Chavo. I'm just saying, he isn't exactly a world-class superstar, and once I've heard someone call him a "top Latino draw," it makes me less capable of taking someone seriously when they refer to someone else that way.

I have a feeling that the claims about Konnan are as accurate as the BS that Punk got the biggest pop of the night.

You know what, I'm going to have to ask for numbers to back this up. Not just raw numbers, but some sort of base line to compare them too.

I get tired of hearing some one mainevented at the Tokyo Dome. WWE sucks and sells out the Tokyo Dome.
