The black background isn't necessary since it's transparent.

This should be within the limits.

p.s. how do I save a gif, without making it stop??

Depends on the program. I believe Photoshop has an "Animate" check box under the .Gif save for web dialog. I haven't really used Photoshop in years so I'm not sure.
