Is Raw starting to look more like Monday Nitro?

Just saw Cody Rhodes' intro. Wow. I mean, everything about it looked cheap. And if I didn't know who this guy was (Or listen to them ramming it down my throat), I'd think I was watching something right out of Nitro. The theme music even sounded like something the knockoff dept. wold do over there. It was only a step above TNA.

Is this common right now, or did I just catch a bad example?

They usually give a guy generic music when they first start out, hell Cena had it, so did Orton, even Lesnar had one when he first debuted.

Once Rhodes gets into the thick of things, they change it up. Maybe even next week.

Bad example, although there are more "bad examples" around now than there used to be.

Difference is, within a few weeks, WWE will have tweaked and changed it, whereas in WCW he'd still be coming out to that shit with a World title strapped around his waist.

Besides Sting it seemed the most theme songs any wrestler would have in WCW was 2. Booker T used his theme song from 93-06!

RAW has been reminding me of Nitro for sometime now, if they make the switch to three hours it may be to much for me...

Marella has a decent generic theme. Whilst I don't like it, at least they bothered to do a decent intro for him.

I'm going to throw this out there. I think Cody Rhodes has a great future. Didn't see much of his wrestling ability against Orton but he took a beating fairly well. Plus he's decent on the stick. If he can put on some weight (not Dusty style) he'd be credible

I liked Cody Rhodes, and I thought the generic music/video added to the whole 'this is his first match on Raw' feel. I think anybody harping on this is merely nitpicking.

Anyway, did anybody else love the way he sold the RKO? Looked great.

Raw reminded me of Nitro when they had Bischoff.

Cody was awesome I had no problem at all with his debut. And sometimes Raw does remind me of Nitro, but not in a bad way. I feel like they are stepping back sometimes and I like that.
