It bored the piss out of me...

Literally, I swear I had to pee like 6 times during that show.

1. Still don't care about Santino Marella, perhaps having him eliminated first and mere moments into the match didn't help his cause.

2. Like the King Booker tease with the Triple H theme at the begining. I hope this leads to King Booker taking the title off Cena, then feuding with Trips upon his return.

3. I seriously can't think of anything else to say because I feel that absolutely f'king nothing happened.

Thoughts?

I thought the raw thread was below average....it never breaks 10 pages anymore.

I haven't seen RAW yet, but it does sound like a pretty "meh" show. King Booker vs. Triple H is the right program to run upon Triple H's return. I don't think it should be for the WWE Championship, though. I came up with a scenario on how I would book the Triple H vs. King Booker feud, and while I won't go into detail, the gist of it is that they feud over the title of "King of Kings."

King Booker would win their first match via disqualification, in a way that doesn't make Triple H look like an idiot for not knowing the rules. I'm thinking Sharmell distracts the referee while Triple H has the pin off a Pedigree, so he pulls Sharmell into the ring, gives her a Pedigree, and the referee disqualifies Triple H for hurting an outside party, which is not usual practice.

The second match would be a Street Fight. The story here is that Sharmell is considering leaving Booker because after Triple H lost, he chased off Booker with a sledgehammer, and then signalled that he was going to hit Sharmell if Booker didn't come back to the ring. Booker didn't return, and Triple H nailed Sharmell with the sledgehammer. Booker is fighting for the pride of his wife in this match, but eventually Triple H goes for the sledgehammer again, and Booker bails. There are no countouts in a Street Fight, but Triple H is declared the winner via forfeit.

The final match would be a Steel Cage Match, to keep Booker in, and keep the sledgehammer out. King Booker wins the final match of the feud with help from Randy Orton, who realises that he was on Triple H's hit list, and he just wanted to strike first.

Santino Marella is dead in the water, but the WWE has no one to blame for that but themselves. I mean, they babyfaced him too much. Anthony Carelli has been playing this role as well as possible. I've been impressed by him both in his backstage segments and in the ring.

The WWE will probably give up on him, but I think the way to go is to have Santino Marella show up on Heat next week, facing a local wrestler. He gets on the microphone and points out that the man he is facing is a trained wrestler, picked from his hometown, much like Santino was. Santino wants to prove that what he did was not easy. He proceeds to beat the living crap out of the kid he is facing, and gets him to submit to his old finishing move as Boris Alexiev, the Standing Armbar.

From there, have Santino play the heel in his matches on Heat, facing "hometown heroes" who he demolishes, proving that it is not easy being an instant success like he was. He keeps Maria as a valet, who likes Santino, but is just as disturbed by his meanstreak as everyone else is meant to be. She kind of becomes the kimonoed Torrie Wilson to Santino's Tajiri.

I'm kind of upset that the better acts on the RAW brand (Redneck Wrecking Crew, London & Kendrick, etc.) have been featured less and less in recent weeks. I'm happy with the women's division at the moment, but that is it. Val Venis and William Regal in the IC Title scene would make me a happy man, and seeing the tag teams get some attention would be good, as well.

Santino should have a gimmick where he keeps losing, but doesn't care because Maria keeps "consoling" him.

I dont think anyone would mind to lose if they had Maria consoling them after every match then going to your hotel every night and fix her pancakes.

I only liked the Booker opening segment, the 4 way elimination match was watchable though and the crowd was into it.

Honestly, last week after Santino lost his rematch, he sounded like he was deliberately trying to put Maria in a position where he could fuck her. Santino as a sexual predator? Ratings, my friend. Ratings.

1) I found it inappropriate that during Booker's opening segment they panned to a guy holding a "MR. CRYBABY PAUSE CRYBABY!" sign. That fan is a fucking cheater. HOLD UP THE SIGN WHEN THE GUY YOU ACTUALLY MADE THE SIGN FOR IS OUT!

2) There was a really fat woman in the front row who was prone to getting up and letting her seven boobies jiggle while letting out god awful noises that one can only assume, given the context of the event, were cheers.

3) John Cena's promo ruined Wayne's World and Billy Madison for me. Fuck you, John Cena.

Seeing Wayne's World mentioned in thedamndest's post made me wish for Paul London & Brian Kendrick to get a Wayne's World gimmick, again. I'm not the only one who's had this idea, and probably not the only one on these forums. It just fits them because they're young, able to pull it off, and they seem like goofs in real life.

I've also seen it suggested as a "Bill & Ted" gimmick (I don't know why, but I'm thinking WWKD was behind that labelling of it). Either way, it fits them really well.

I liked the Lillian Garcia "aaaaaaaaahhhhhh" When the Kennedy match started. lol. That was about the highlight. Great.

For a woman as old as she is, Lilian is pretty hot.

The Bill & Ted thing was touched on in an issue of WWE magazine. Pretty funny, too.

Haha, really? That's awesome.

I'd love to see Paul London & Brian Kendrick just advertise their Heat matches on RAW when they're not booked. Have them appear in "Brian's basement," or something, with some morons playing some version of their entrance theme. Then have Kendrick announce he will be facing Charlie Haas on Heat, and have him hold up pictures he drew of stick figures with one representing him, another representing Haas with VS in between them.

You could even have Kendrick storyboard the whole match with him kicking off Charlie's head at one point. "But Brian, how are you going to hit him with Sliced Bread #2 if you've kicked his head off?" Then have Paul London actually call someone in London, just to play off the name of his finishing move, and have him discuss finance with them, or something.

It was the June 07 issue, if you want to look it up. They're dressed up as B&T, complete with the phone booth.
