More specifically, which has to do with space, aliens, the future, etc

For example:

2001: A Space Odyssey
War of The Worlds
Independance Day
Aliens
Transformers
Mars Attacks :shifty:

etc etc

I do like Sci Fi elements though.

Maybe my genre grouping is just different. I'd call Alien a horror, Aliens or T2 an action movie, Back To the Future a comedy, Star Wars and adventure, War of the Worlds a thriller, and Spiderman a comic book movie.
Obv, they're sci fis too I guess.

I'm just being anal, but I think of Sci Fi as garbage shit like Dune and stuff, which I hate.

Star Wars, I guess. I don't like "pure" Sci Fi, and Star Wars is a Western/Samurai flick set in space.

Science Fiction Shows, I could probably give a list...

Not a sci fi kinda guy. Is the terminator sci fi? He is a robot.

I did like Men In Black and Independance Day.

I'd call Terminator Sci Fi. It deals with Time Travel and has naked guys with shotgun.

Every Star Trek movie, ever.
Star Wars Episode III, IV, V and VI
Minority Report
Serenity's not too bad, either.

Does V for Vendetta count? It's in the future and stuff.

I just saw that again. I forgot how satirical it was.

Pitch Black was pretty cool.

Mr Regal

had a conversation about the greatness of Starship Troopers with someone not long ago. It is an awful film, but at the same time it is utterly brilliant. It's a strange one.

The Matrix is greatness. Star Wars obviously. Aliens. Blade Runner.

I love sci fi and it is a massive genre with an incredible amout of great films. Too many to think of really.

I think it's great.

It's hilarious. It's bad science fiction, and it's even a bad movie in a lot of respects, but the satire is marvelous.

Yeah Regal, you've pretty much summed up Starship Troopers.

And Serenity was a very good movie, don't buy many DVDs, but that one made it on my shelf.

Like many not overly huge on Sci-Fi but my favorite is probably Logan's Run. Also big on Mars Attack! like someone else mentioned.
