Ok. Two songs that I first encountered through wrestling.

Creed - My Sacrifice - first heard this back when it was first used in the old Desire videos, which must be at least four or five years or so ago now.

Three Doors Down - Here Without You - Had never heard it before I'd listened to it in an Eddie tribute song when he'd died.

Both songs for various other reasons have become special to me but without wrestling I'd never have heard either of them. Just wondering if any others on here took a liking to these and if so which one comes out best?

(Fuck knows what the footage is for, just prefer this version of the song)

Expect people to like the 3 Doors Down one more, people hate Creed here. I can completley relate though. I loved My Sacrifice in like 2001 when I was in year six. Still enjoy it now actually.

3 Doors down is a great typical sad song, heard it from the Eddie tribute too

Sounds like we're in the same boat, then.

I admit to not knowing a lot about Creed, they've never been given much of a shot over here so like I said I've only heard some of their stuff through wrestling.

Is there is a reason they aren't as liked?

Ignorant I know... sorry!

Ah it doesn't matter.

Anyway, I think Creed get loads of shit because of Scott Stapp, ead singer (His drug problem, followed by his born again christian attitude he felt he just HAD to write every song about. Not long after that, Creed broke up, leaving Alterbridge (did edges theme) which is Creed without Stapp (And they havent had much criticism). and Stapp did his own thing. Which sounded exactly like Creed. Although I like the song The Great Divide.

This is rich coming from an intense Pearl Jam fan, as Scott Stapp said that 'Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam frontman) wishes he could write a song as good as Scott Stapp' (Yes he was talking in third person :nono: )

If you dont know Pearl Jam they are 90s 'grunge' giants. Along with Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden.

Creed always got shit on here because Stapp wishes he was Eddie Vedder (pretty much the same thing with Chad Kroger and Nippleback, tbh) and probably couldnt write a decent song to save his life.

That said, yeah I have a Creed CD or two...but that's because Mark Tremonti (Creed/Alter Bridge's lead guitarist) is pretty fucking good.

Some of the songs Creed released I thought were pretty decent. Especially Bullets. The video for that was pretty sweet too.
