View Full Version : So when's Vince coming back?
Since he isn't "dead" anymore, when will he be coming back? And who's his next feud?
This will just be a discussion about the inevitable.

They're going to wait until they're sure everyone's forgotten he died.
So any day now.
But seriously, Vince will kill himself. Not because of how miserable a human being is, but because of Raw's low ratings.

And that'll only be when he runs out of excuses for low ratings and has no one to blame but his company and himself.
So we have time.

It's pretty nice not having him around. I enjoy his character, but whenever he's around, the whole damn show tends to revolve around him. As much as I don't want to say it, what Chris Benoit did turned out for the better.

Agreed, Benoit is a saint.

When I saw Raw when Vince came out, I thought he felt guilty cause Benoit, his wife and son were killed in a limo explosion.
Nah, never got to say it, RIP Benoit.
Vince can come back whenever he damn well pleases. He's Vince McMahon, damnit!

The longer he stays off TV, the better. I hate him.

He wanted it to be 2 years if the storyline had finished out. I bet Vince will be back before WM 24.

2 years? Seriously? Where'd you hear that?

That was the original plan. The last plan was about six weeks. If Benoit had lived, he would have lasted another week, the way they kept cutting it down.

From the way it sounds, Vinnie Mac may be in no condition to return to the show any time soon. Not only are there reports of him looking like a wreck over the stress, but as the owner of a company being glared at by liberal whack-job do-gooders that want to point a finger about steroids, it may be better for his image to separate himself from the manical tyrant he portrays on tv.

Well, in fairness, steroids had basically nothing to do with Benoit goin' bonkers. And yet, all we've heard is "steroids, steroids, steroids" like it's part of the issue. Kinda like W went from "al-Queda, al-Queda, al-Queda" and then attacked people who weren't directly involved and, in fact, offered the world their assistance in the matter.
It's just a far-left crazy person's "Purpose of the Month". You watch: some 9-year-old kid will shoot at a cop, the cop will kill him in self-defense, and next thing you know, the world forgets about Steroids and will demand stricter rules on how to officiate the law.

Except it's not a far left thing. Unless Billo and Hannitty and Fox News' anchor desk are also liberal.

WWE needs to send Michael Vick, Tim Donaghy, and Lindsay Lohan some nice fruit baskets for taking the media coverage off of them.

I'm convinced Afterlife's opting for the "intentionally retarded" gimmick. He seems otherwise intelligent, but frequently becomes selectively stupid, fialing to understand even simple concepts, making worthless assumptions, etc.
Or, in this case, statements as though it's the liberal left who is making steroids an issue or ranting about drugs in wrestling, rather than everyone other than net smarks on the motherfucking planet.
This seems to be a blind spot with internet smarks in general.
Stupid motherfuckers who worship carnies. and then complain when said drug abusing, wife-beating carnies are portrayed badly in the media. Like you need to try hard to make these guys look bad. You have maybe a dozen positive influences to thousands of poor ones.

Speaking of which, you think McMahon's hatred of the media stems from the fact that he knows he's trash?

No, no, no, no, no. I'm not talking about steroids and wrestling in general That's not what I was trying to get at. What I'm saying is, the current buzz about steroids in wrestling -- and you can't deny that it's suddenly a magnanimous issue after years of dormancy -- was caused by something that wasn't related to steroids. Not directly, anyway.
Sure, Benoit's dr. was giving out loads of unnecessary drugs and whatnot, but the man himself wasn't on anything of the steroid nature at the time he flipped his lid. And clearly, it was this Benoit Tragedy that started the current firestorm of "steroids in wrestling".
As for my "liberal" commentary, what I mean is this: Anytime anything happens of a somber nature, there are two responses: The Right looks to see if said event insulted the bible, and the Left looks to see if they can pull a Cause out of it. Seeing as how Benoit appeared to be spiritual, in a very vague way, by placing bibles near his victims, the Right hasn't said much -- that I've heard -- about how immoral and satanic all of pro wrestling is. But the Left decided, before any toxicology results, that this was the work of a man deranged by steroids, and thus the Purpose of the Month was born.
Obviously, not every liberal-minded individual thinks this way, but the far-left people are the ones who pull this kind of crap all the time. As I've said before, I'm not a huge Benoit fan, I just can't fathom condemning the man for losing his mind. But, beyond that, I refuse to blame drugs he didn't take for driving him to his madness, and I refuse to blame a company unrelated to his doctor for even supplying the drugs...that he didn't take.
