Has he had 5 good movies? Lemme think of the ones I've somewhat enjoyed...

Sudden Death
Timecop
Universal Soldier
and Blood Sport to make it an even 4.

...er, yeah.

#1 has to be Sudden Death. JCVD killing the Pittsburgh Penguin? A scene that shall never be topped in the future of cinema.

Wow, looking at that list, I realize I've only seen 3 Van Damme movies.

I forgot about that. That was creepy yet incredible at the same time.

3. Double Impact
4. Kickboxer
5. Universal Soldier

I can't believe I've seen like 21 out of 29 JCVD movies. Mostly because of TBS/TNT.

Universal Soldier: The Return

Gotta say I have a soft spot for Van Damme. I struggled to narrow it down to five.

Also why does everyone hate Universal Soldier: The Return? I love this film! Also the fight at the end between Van Damme and Michael Jai White is fucking sweet!

I was bummed to see that he was not a Unisol in that movie but the obligatory nudity and him owning Goldberg was nice.

Why do you guys like Hard Target more than the others?

Inferno (Coyote Moon) would be in my top ten. The silly cast of characters and Mr. Miyagi was a nice touch IMO. Plus he did two girls at the same time while the old lady watched from the window cheering him on and he got the girl in the end.

Replicant is unlike the other movies he's done except that he plays a double again (clone actually) and I thought it was pretty good. In Wake of Death he makes me think he could be good for a role as a sinister, ruthless, cold-blooded mob boss or something.

Lol yeah. That film weren't bad, just not one of my favourites.

Also Van Damme in Hard Target imo would be an awesome Gambit in an X-Men movie.

I remember a scene where he is wearing a trech coat. Along with his hair, face, moves and cheesy accent I've just always thought that'd be an awesome Gambit.

Just ten years too late. :nono:

i have watched over martial arts films besides Seagal and Van Damme. Whilst I enjoyed them, none can beat the awesomeness of Bloodsport.
