He shoves an apple up Lashley's ass.

Discuss how you would get Carlito over as a legitimate heel.

they can start by not making him blatenly cower and run away

There's really no need.

ok then.

for a character like Carlito, who's suppossed to be an in your face type of character, he should not be running away like a goofball. I mean he looked like such a huge pussy on Monday and how is that suppossed to make him a threat to Lashley? A feud is built upon making the two said wrestlers seem like they are on the same level. The WWE is making Carlito look like a bitch right now. How is anyone suppossed to think he has any chance of going over?

He even ran away from a 60 year old man. I have not understood their booking of him since he turned heel.

"The biggest heel of all-time" as this thread asks, is not made by running away.

So does that mean a heel has never run away before, only to come out on top in the match? And it's not like he is a threat either way, and it's unlikely he'll get a clean win over Lashley anyway, so what's the difference?

Beat up someone with a sack of cheeseburgers

I can't make sense of that.

I was answering the thread on how to make him a better heel. Unlikely win or not, people need to believe he stands some what of a chance. That's how you make money.

If he starts acting like Razor Ramoan.

Simple, but beat down on Jeff Hardy. Like proper put him out for a bit (say Hardy wanted a month off or so - perfect time) - Then let him come out next week and glaot and run the hardy thing down.

Hardy isn't too "big" for him not to beat the shit out of him.

Hardy is far over as a face, the crowd would hate it. Doing it in NC would be better too.

I would feature him beating people, cheating to win, and getting by with any means nessiary. Oh, and maybe put him against people that matter, instead of having him constantly against Ric Flair and Torrie Wilson.

I'd have him come out bald with a swastika tattooed on his head, then have him beat the hell out of maria. That would get him over as a major heel, and probably put in prison as well

Have him set up Lashley somehow ( have him lure him into a trap, then beat the holy hell out of him... leave hm knocked out and bloody.)

Then go to the ring, say, well, it's been fun, I'm going to Smackdown now, I quit, Bye." And walk out of the building.

That's actually what I want to do w/ HHH and Orton though...

Have Booker T and HHH have a loser leaves Raw match (so there's only one "King.") IN the match, have Orton interfere, making HHH lose. His logic is that HHH would come after him for the injury, and now he can't because he's not allowed on Raw.

But that won't happen either.

Remember Lashley is being 'carefully' booked. Carlito is getting buried quicker than the Benoits.

You know how hard it is to dig through six feet of Canadian soil? You need a blowtorch to open it up this time of year.

He can come out and say Benoit was on steroids. Fans will boo, smarks will piss themselves and die crying.

How about you give Carlito a little backbone, cheat to win, do whatever it takes to win, and get a couple big time matches under his belt.

Fuck I'll settle for a metal apple he can use to KO people.

On RAW, Cody Rhodes comes out and demains that Jonathan Coachman comes out and answers for what why he rewarded Randy Orton for what he did to his father. Cody obviously isn't acting rationally, and Carlito comes out. Carlito says that he knows Cody's pain, and that they both have fathers who are former World Champions and wrestling legends. Cody says that he will help Cody with Randy Orton if Cody helps Carlito with Bobby Lashley. Cody says he will do anything to get back at Randy Orton.

After Bobby Lashley wins a match against someone like William Regal, Cody and Carlito spring an attack upon Lashley. Franklin fights them off, but the numbers eventually get to Lashley, and Carlito sneaks in with a Backstabber on Lashley, and the beat-down really kicks in. Bobby Lashley is taken to a nearby "medical facility." Later that night, Carlito and Cody Rhodes run out and attack Randy Orton after he has just defeated someone like Super Crazy. Randy Orton looks a little worried, but gets ready to defend himself. Carlito and Cody position themselves around Randy, trying to get him in the right position, then Carlito hits Cody Rhodes with a Backstabber, and Randy proceeds to kick the crap out of Cody. Carlito and Randy Orton then cut a shared promo about how they have both surpassed their fathers, and that they are smarter than any of the greats this business has ever seen.

I think the secret to getting Carlito over is to have him play a smart heel. It's what he originally was meant to be, and it was fantastic. There was also a ruthless edge to him. Bring that back. He and Orton have a similar story, so they can each fuel each other to where they need to be.
