View Full Version : Wow... so TNA is doing something right I guess.

I give them alot of shit because everytime I try to watch Impact or read results, it just comes off as an awful product.

I just found out that Christian Cage has yet to be pinned or made to submit since he's been in TNA though. He also has the longest such streak in TNA.

Kudos to that booking. The rest of the show may be awful but apparently Christian is being handled amazingly.

On a side note, didn't Samoa Joe have a ridiculously long undefeated streak too? Seemed like it lasted longer than Christian has been with TNA.

You know, I don't think the WWE's Hornswaggle has been pinned or made to submit as of yet.

Christian is the man, and right now TNA's product is 10 times better than where it ever been.

I believe Little Boogieman as the honor.

I can't seem to find any record of this.

You know, odds are pretty good that a drunk driver will make it home without incident. That TNA is capable of doing only one or twothings right is amazing, simply because such a low success rate defies probability.

The truly sad thing is that if you compare side by side things they're doing right...they tie...which means TNA has either worked it's way up to WWE's level, or WWE lowered their level down to an over glorified regional territory...

WWE
1. Cena/Orton has potential to be a great angle...the match has a 1:243 chance of living up to the hype (though technically we already got the first Cena/Orton one on one match during the Guerrero tribute show...)
2. MVP is awesome
3. CM Punk isn't completely burried yet?

TNA
1. Every single Kevin Nash moment is gold
2. Kurt Angle has been on fire
3. Christian Cage is finally being treated like he should be

6 good things in the entire industry right now, someone start with a eulogy for this industry won't you?

WWE is sinking. TNA's roughly the same, but one or two positives are now more than enough to compare to WWE. It's a shame, because I wanted to see TNA RAISE the bar, not WWE lower it.

TNA recycles WWE's old trash, what possible chance did we have of that happening?

When it looked like in the first half of 2005 that Christian MIGHT get the push he deserved in WWE they sent him to Smackdown and really didnt do nothing with him there, so he goes to TNA and they have capitalized on it.

I'm pretty sure that Christian Cage was both made to submit and tap out at the same time on PPV, wasn't he? I guess they're overlooking the match since technically Cage was stripped of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship before it took place.

Christian Cage and Kurt Angle have been awesome in TNA. There is also so much potential there. I wish they would start being more like an independent promotion with a sports entertainment (sans glass ceiling) main event scene, rather than a shitty SE program all the way through.

There's a small difference though. Christian is viewed as an actual wrestler rather than a fucking JOKE!

My point is that a lack of being pinned or submitting alone does not make a wrestler. Christian is still lost in the shuffle and kind of seemingly stuck in a rut in TNA. I'm not saying I'm not entertained by him, just that he doesn't seem like as big of a deal as someone who's never been pinned or made to submit would presumeably be.:)

You know that WWE is using CM Punk better than TNA used him. Its weird when the shoe is on the other foot. :shifty:
