The nominations you see here were selected by 11 members of the TPWW Wrestling Forum Committee; Myself, BDC, KOOS, Xero, mrslackalack, NeanderCarl, Loopydate, WWKD, KayfabeMan, Rob and James Steele.

We each selected 4 nominees for each respected category.

The Categories were as follows: Top Level Wrestler, Mid Level Wrestler, Tag Team, Manager and Misc (i.e someone who has contributed a lot to the business that may not fall in the other categories)

Now we pass the torch to the TPWW Community to help elect our first Hall of Famer from this Category. There will be four other categories to follow, in which four more electees will be chosen, completing are Class of 2007

Please cast ONE Vote for this category. At voting close, the top 3 guys will move on to the Final voting for the Veterans Committee. From there, the committee will have a final vote to elect our 1st TPWW Hall of Famer from this category.

So, Let the Voting Begin..

It's got to be Vince McMahon Jr. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be on this board, typing this post.

Not voting for Vince = lying to yourself for whatever reason of spite towards him

Vince McMahon appeared on the most ballots this time around with eight. Gordon Solie was on six, followed by Eric Bischoff and Mr. T with four each. Paul Heyman got three nods. Everyone else had only one or two.

Not voting for Vince = lying to yourself for whatever reason of spite towards himI didn't vote for him because he has not put out something good in the past five years. To put him in now would make it seem like I am justifying 2 and 1/2 years of HHH and 2 and 1/2 years of Cena.

Actually that is not my reason I see vince as a main eventer 2 time champ come on!

If it wasn't for Verne Gagne, imagine how different wrestling would have been. Vince Jr. made pro wrestling what it is today, but without the 4 guys I put down...Vince Jr. wouldn't have had much to work with steal from.

I can't believe I'm the only one who nominated Gorilla Monsoon!! Although I voted for Vinnie Mac...

It's funny, I was going to nominate Gorilla but I decided against it because I felt so strongly for nominating Solie.

But I did end up voting for Gorilla because he was HUGE in the transition from Vince Sr. to Jr. not to mention all of his other backstage duties AND his commentating.

And gotta throw in the nod for his angle with Ali (although it was a wrestling role).

Although I'm disappointed for the lack of appreciation for Vince Sr. as he doesn't get the credit he really deserves in the business.

Vince Sr. was a big influence, no doubt, and I considered him, but I believe Vince Jr. had a MUCH larger influence overall. If it weren't for him the WWF may never have gone national as Vince Sr. wanted to keep the territories intact (at least that's what I've read).

He should go in eventually, but Vince Jr. is THE wrestling promoter as far as I'm concerned.
