I agree, KoOS. The guy passed in every area. Good wrestler, could cut a promo, and had charisma.
That team with KC James was not a good indicator of what he could do. They had just started working together in OVW, and there was no motivation given for the team.
It should be noted that his greatest contribution to the WWE, is that John Morrison uses his finisher. Once again, this is a shame, because Aaron Stevens (not to limit him) could have been a great mid-carder.

Judging by this reaction, I have to say...
I'm glad he's gone.

Wrong.
John Morrison uses a corkscrew neck breaker, similar to the Moore-Gasm that the former Prince of Punk uses. that is a flip over type neck breaker. Idol uses the same finisher that Conway used, and goldberg, and is called the super neckbreaker. basically a Roll of the Dice with the guy flipped over. very different. Morrisons also begins in a kind of front headlock like you would initiate a Snapmare.
I thought he was released months ago...

Doesn't EVERY developmental wrestler have these abilities these days Alienoid? Certainly, in your opinion they do.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought Idol Stevens used a flipping neckbreaker. I misread the description of the move. I've never heard it described as a "super neckbreaker" before. That one is new to me.
Shannon Moore's Mooregasm is a flying flipping neckbreaker. Morrison uses a standing or rope-assisted version. I guess they are similar, but there are better variants to compare it to. Flipping neckbreakers have been used by many guys as a transitional move, or such.

Most of them quite frankly do. A lot of them are either talented wrestlers, with passable mic skills and some charisma. There is potential in anyone. Idol Stevens had so much, though. As KoOS said, he was one of the better developmental guys.
He had better mic skills than most of the active WWE roster. I'm willing to bet he was certainly able to keep up with them in the ring, too.
