So the demo is up on the Xbox live marketplace and I finally downloaded it this morning. Pretty cool if you ask me. I already have the PS3 collector's edition reserved so I think I'll be pretty happy with this.

Any other thoughts?

I'm not sure if I'd buy it (it seems like it might get very repetitive, and the controls are a bit flaky) but for a free demo it's very fun. Shooting someone in the eye is just a guilty pleasure :$

I'm not a huge fan. It seemed too much like Enter The Matrix for me.

I liked it. But yeah it could get repetitive.

I loved the demo, of course I wouldn't pay $60 for it. But it'll defiantely be a fun Gamefly rental.

Loved the demo...I replay it all the time...

My only concern with the game is that it seems like one of those games that you will probably beat in just a few days. Im gonna rent it and if i cant beat it in the rental period then I might pick it up...or I might pick it up if the multiplayer is as cool looking as it looks in the demo.

Scopped out the demo. Some of the physics seem a little....
Okay, you get within 3 feet of a watermellon and it explodes, but oranges can be shot with a pistol and they'll bounce?
Looking forward to the multi-player mode. I just wonder how many people are just going to try to do the spinning shot too manytimes.

i am loving the demo, ive been pretty excited about this game for a while. it has its little faults to it but its seems like it will be a real fun game. not crazy deep or anything like that, just a fun "shoot 'em up" with some cool features

def wil buy it, it should be a great filler to halo, army of 2, nba,nhl and a bunch of other coming out the holiday season

The demo was good, the precision aiming is pretty kick ass, taquilla time is average, but then again the whole concept hasn't changed since the days of Max Payne.

Will probably pick it up, but not till its in the bargin bins.

The controls are so clunky. What, no fine tuning in the last decade of shooters?

Anyone who has it:

Does it have splitscreen multiplayer?

Apparently it gets a little samey towards the end, but has a lot of cool set pieces in the early and middle sections of the game.

I admit, I wasn't interested until I seen IGN give it an unusually high score for a Midway game (no offense). I checked out some gameplay vids and seen that they basically improved on Max Payne's mechanics. All the environment stuff looks to make some wild multiplayer.

purchased it yesterday...

Havnt had much time with it but did do a round of online deathmatch. Its very very very hectic. To much shit going on at one time. And it sucks for your team to be one point away for the enemy to just do that stupid spinning death move and kill everyone to win the game.

Love single player...Ive only gotten past the first stage but its pretty bad ass. Its just so bad ass to go in slow mission...leap to a swinging light...swing from it with rockets just wizzing by your head...and then jump off right before one hits you.

This game is one of the few games that really gives you a movie like experience.

Yeah like most shooters, it's a very short game.

You can defiantely beat it in a night.
