This one time, WWF came to Indianapolis. It was a house show. And the day before they had WWE superstars autographing junk and it was Crush and Road Warrior Animal. Crush was a dick and i'm pretty sure he had Fragile X syndrome at the time cause he grabbed his shoulder and said " ohhh my fragile x is acting up ".

Whatever he died of he'll be lumped into "X Number of wrestler deaths" lists.

Nah I'd definitely be surprised if there was no media coverage on this, considering how close it happened to the Benoit thing. That and the fact that Adams didn't exactly have a reputation for clean living.

I know this Benoit thing has de sensitized alot of people to this type of thing, but fuck man! He's just died with no known cause. Heck I still make jokes about the Benoit thing to mask how disgusted I really am with the situation, but don't let it pass onto to others that have died.

He was alright back in the day, I enjoyed his Hawaiian face run when he used the Crush as his finisher, his match with Savage at Mania 10 was fun. Plus he was part of the original nation of domination.

Didn't really follow him after WCW, knew he was part of Kronic and then the match with the least amount of selling on ppv ever. Taker/Kane Vs Kronic will always go down as a funny moment.

Back in my mark days I used to love him and his feud with Doink and when he turned heel on Savage will always be remembered.

What Dave said. R.I.P.

I was a fan of his back in the day when he had the that bright orange and purple costume with the "Crush" finisher.

Also was a huge fan of Kronic, and they're actually one of my top ten teams of all time. Sure their WWE run sucked, but I really liked them in WCW.

:(

So uh... how many has that been this year?

Doink did it :shifty:

I liked Hawian Crush as a kid, was so mad at Mania 9 with the two Doinks things (although looking back, it was genious). Probably the only match I really remember of his was at Mania 10 against Savage, that was such a kick ass match.

Read on WWE.com that he suffered a serious spinal injury a couple of years back, not sure whether that contributed to his death.

Shut the fuck up. If you can joke about Benoit's death to cope, don't fucking tell other people what to do to cope, you hypocritical fuck.
That's because of what Benoit did days before the death, the second it was announced he was dead everyone was in shock and at the time of not knowing any details everyone would of been really down and no one would of made any jokes about it.

Since more info came out I (and I feel many others) rather than morning the death, block it out using defenses like humor because of what he did, not because of the death.

I think what's been said so far in this thread has nothing to do with Bryan Adams and is more people trying to get cheap laughs off the back of Benoit, which I don't agree with as this should be considered a separate entity IMO.

A wrestler who was fairly successful has died, don't make jokes about it because another wrestler killed his family and himself last month.

What comment, "it's no great loss to pro wrestling".

Yes, because your own career spanned a long time and you contributed so much. I also never was aware that measuring one's importance in wrestling [or anything else] measures their importance in life.

Thank you Rob.

......now this one hits me kinda hard. No matter what his gimmick was like I've always been a fan of Bryan Adams. He was one of the few powerhouses that I've liked.
Hell, the other day I was thinking of how many people need to steal his pineapple crush. It would work well for Chris Masters, The Great Khali, or any other powerhouse.
I loved his fued with Randy Savage and Doink. As a part of Demolition he had a great match with The Legion of Doom.

If you didn't see him in the ring you missed out.

Rest in Peace

I always thought Kronik got a kind of shit deal when they came to WWE. They are normally what Vince likes so I was expecting them to be two of the few people to actually do well out of the invasion. But then came what has to be one of the worst matches I've ever watched. In my opinion it was just bad booking though, what do you think is gonna happen if you put two teams against each other who are too big to actually do any moves to each other?

So it was equally Kane, Undertakers and Kroniks fault the match sucked, solution, scrap Kronik, push Kane and Undertaker. Undertaker even won a title not long after that, despite the fact he was by far the least talented man in that match

Pro wrestler Brian Adams dead

44-year-old wrestler found unconscious in his home--Steroids suspected

TAMPA, FLA. (AP) -- Former pro steroid wrestling champion Brian "Crush" Adams died Monday after he was found unconscious in his home. He was 44 and on steroids. He showed no visible signs of injury and foul play was not suspected, police spokeswoman Janelle McGregor said, though she noted the use of steroids as a factor. Authorities were awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner before proceeding with their investigation. But come on, I mean, really.

Adams' wife, who was not identified as a steroid user, found her husband not breathing and called 911 about 11 a.m. Fire Rescue workers later pronounced him dead, McGregor said. Adams, a former world tag team champion, last performed for the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and served intermittently on the roster beginning in 1990, World Wrestling Entertainment said.
WWE spokesman George Cabico had no further comment. Except steroids. Steroids steroids steroids steroids steroids.

Adams death comes less than two months after pro wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife and son before hanging himself on the cable of a weight machine in his Georgia home. Prescription anabolic steroids were found in the family's home, raising questions about whether the drugs played a role in the killings. Steroids.

R.I.P. Crush.

Granted, his match vs Randy Savage at WrestleMania X was maybe the only good match of his career (actually, his Chicago Street Fight at WrestleMania 13 was the second best match of the night I suppose)... but nevertheless, it's always a shame to hear of a young death in the business, and somebody's worth shouldn't be measured in opinion of his wrestling ability, that's just short-sighted and selfish.

Adams' wife, who was not identified as a steroid user

Wait, so every time someone dies of a particular cause, we have to point out that any given person associated with them is not involved in that particular thing?

"District Attorney Fred Picklefeather, who is not now nor has ever been on steroids, had the following to say: 'We were notified by his wife, who is not on steroids, that he had stopped breathing. Deputy Van Halen, who is also not on steroids, accompanied me to the building with our police dog Jerry Lee, whom it would be ridiculous to suggest is on steroids. Afterwards we went to McDonalds, where we were served by a lovely waitress who has not been identified as a steroid user. After leaving work I returned home and made love to my wife, who is also not on steroids.'"
