1) I don't particularly like these "game show" segments, and I fear this is going to be going on for a while. However, there are elements of these segments that I do like...
1A) Regal is working well as GM, is good on the mic, and on TV more than he has been in a LONG while.
1B) It puts Ron Simmons in more comical situations.
1C) It gets Santino Marella over, and his mic work as a heel is far superior to that of his work as a face.
2) I enjoyed the crowd's reaction during the main event and I hope more of it is on the way for Summerslam. The high pitched "Let's Go Cena" chants countered by a mid-to-deeper toned "Cena Sucks" chants were great. I also liked the fact that while Orton still tried to heel it up when denouncing Cena, he got a "thank you" pop still.
3) I wish Triple H would have actually RETURNED last night, and confronted King Bookah rather than just announcing the match will take place with little to no buildup other than vague references and speculation.
4) More King Bookah notes: I noticed he acted more "sucka"-ish on more than one occassion during his segment last night. First in the ring with Jerome, and then outside the ring when he was yelling at J.R. I think the King gimmick is ending after Summerslam.
5) This new Vince angle feels a bit rushed. I haven't read SNME results yet, so I don't know what is coming next. However, it just seems they are moving a rapid pace on this and are at the very least going to wrap up the "identity" mystery soon. I don't know exactly how I feel about that.
6) In connection to the Vince angle, I sorta hope that once the identity is unvailed (I speculate Kennedy too, BTW) this angle turns into a new Corporation or some sort of stable backed by Vince and his "chosen one". The storyline could be a struggle for power between a group of Vince's family + Triple H (as the champ) battling Vince and his new group.
6A) My first draft of a good "Corporation" looks something like this...Mr. Kennedy, Cade & Murdoch, and the WGTT (but somewhat split up, or mostly in singles action).
