I saw an old episode of Family Feud Tuesday that brought back memories. Ray Combs was hosting a WWF Battle between "The Good Guys", with Randy Savage (complete in his kind of fruity cowboy attire), Tatanka (BUFFALO!), Crush (R.I.P.), the Big Bossman (R.I.P.), and Reverend Slick (Who had just got back from taking Kamala bowling, I presume.) Against the "Bad Guys" with Shawn Micheals (with Intercontinental Title and his white tights with the Zebra hearts on it.), Jimmy Hart (the poster child for Megaphones, Air-Brushed Polyester suits), IRS (with a tag title and his glasses), Repo Man (Who snuck to the podium, if I remember correctly.), and Papa Shongo (who I think put a curse on Vince McMahon for giving him such a shitty gimmick.)
Anyway, the quote on the title came from Combs after he asked "What American is best known for using an Axe." Big Bossman answered Paul Revere.
Side note: EVERYONE is in FULL ATTIRE, except Crush who is wearing a pair of black jeans and a tank top that has Crush airbrushed on it (No doubt by the same man who did Jimmy Hart's jacket.) and Papa Shongo who wore sunglasses instead of his face paint.
Anyway, the Good Guys completely squashed the Bad Guys (who really should have had Razor Ramon with them.) But bombed the bonus round badly. (What kind of product comes from a spray can? "Toothpaste." "Lotion.")
It was odd, especially considering it was the day AFTER Bryan Adams was found dead.
Anyone else see this? Or care to comment?
