I have two issues with my router that I've yet to be able to figure out.

1. Getting my little sister's computer to connect to the network.

2. Getting my p2p program to connect to it.

Now for problem one, thus far I've tried changing all the channels on the router but every single one of them didn't fix the problem. It's like my network shows up on the range of available networks to connect to but once I try to get it connected it says that the network is out of range.

And for problem 2... I just don't know what to do for it.

And if it helps any the router type that I'm using is linksys

you should be able to http:\\ into the router interface and open the ports required for your PTP Program.
Is your Sisters PC getting an IP Address?

Also, pics of said sister.

Your router, is it a wireless router?

Is your sister using a laptop or desktop to connect to the router, and if so, is the network card being used to connect a wireless one?

When you try to search for networks that are in range, are you using the software program that came with the adaptor or the 'windows one'?

If could be the software, but whatever company manufactured your sisters laptop/pc, try to get there networking software.

I know its not much help, but that is all i can think of off the top of my head!
