I just decided that I like Batista. No matter how shitty his matches are, he at least brings energy to the ring and he's still oozing charisma. Predictable, poorly put together matches have become a standard in the world of professional wrestling, so it seems unfair to hold that against him any more...which means I am now free to, and enjoying, Dancin' Dave.

You know, I wouldn't hate Batista nearly as much as I do if he wasn't constantly the #1 contender.

I grew tired of Batista when he got the "boo-boo" face when he didn't have the title, or was fighting for the title. Taker pulled a good series out of him at least.

I mean if they used him as an uppermid carder to get other over, then he would be fantastic.

Yeah, does anyone realize he's been the #1 contender EVERY SINGLE PPV since he lost it? He's lost World Title matches 6 PPVs in a row, and is still the #1 contender? That makes no sense, but regardless, his entrance is automatically one of the top 5 most entertaining things in the entire industry right now.

As of Summerslam, he will have had 7 title shots since April. Everyone realizes this because I bitch about it constantly. I figure he will have an 8th come the next ppv.

What they need to do is let Kahli crush bats. Bring in Flair as Bats' manager or mentor or whatever, then have him go through some undercard guys, have some guys go over Bats, then maybe in a year or so, if he is healthy, give him another title run and retire him.

Well you do consistently favor shitty wrestlers, so this isn't a surprise.

Batista is pretty much "teh suck" these days. He has some good showings with Kane, Finlay, The Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy behind him this year, but his character is so shit. I liked him when he was still pretty much the suave Evolution guy, only we were allowed to cheer him because he went against the top heels. That was great. As it is, Batista can't hold my interest.
What they should do, is have Batista absolutely squash Khali at Summerslam. All of Khali's credibility comes from his size. It won't be hard to bring him the next SmackDown! and have him squash ten jobbers with his bare hands, and everything he once had (which isn't much) comes roaring back. It will just do Batista (who was a potential money maker in 2005, so hopefully still is) a whole lot of good if he is "in the zone" at Summerslam, and dominates the World Heavyweight Title match, and wins back the big gold belt. Then have Rey Mysterio ask for a title shot out of respect for his friend and partner. I can see Ric Flair doing the same, and Kane then coming out and not saying much, but making it perfectly clear he wants a title shot. A Fatal Fourway between four top babyfaces? It would be a bit cluttered, but with PPVs being tri-branded, and a desire to get buys up, something like that would be a bit of unexpected fun.

He has charisma, although (and I've been a Dave fan for a bit, I guess...), he does need improvement on mic skills. I mean, he's not as bad as Matt Hardy or Bobby Lashley...but there's just something about most of his promos where he has to say more than a line or so.

The Rock should make a special appearance. Vince should actually be happy about this possibility...only for Rock to remind Vince that he knows who his daddy is...and Rock Bottom him or whatever.
