Hahaha I don't think I have ever posted this but here goes...

So everyone remembers TL Hopper as the plumber in the WWE around 1996. Well he is a pretty famous wrestler in the south as well known as Dirty White Boy. Yes he actually has fans to this day, kinda...

Well I think this was about two years ago, I was home visting Tennessee and I was driving down the interstate when I saw a wrestling ring on the side of the road. I was with my friend Josh who likes wrestling also so we stopped and went to the ring. There was some horrible tag match going on and like 30-40 fans around the ring with a radio station broadcasting the whole thing. Even the color commentary was on the microphone so the audience (haha) could hear it. Mind you this is 10 feet from the highway.

Main event comes around and its a HUGE battle royal! All of the wrestlers were so out of shape and rednecky it was a riot. But there in the crowd of turds lurks a plumber. DIRTY WHITE BOY... he has the fans behind him like crazy, skanky trailer park women obviously willing to get plunged after the show were going wild. Well Dirty White Boy wins and invites everyone out to the "Bad Moon Rising" a beer bar down the road.

Well after the match I went up to TL, nervous, didn't really know what to say but here is the dialouge...

Me: DIRTY WHITE BOY!

DWB: Huh?

Me: Great match (lie)

DWB: Thanks

DWB starts to walk off, but I need a story out of this damnit... so I say...

ME: You know one of my favorite momories ever? At Summerslam 96 when you ate the baby ruth turd in the pool.

He busted out laughing, and had a twinkle in his eye. I made his day for sure. We talked about Vince and shit, I don't really remember what he said, but it was just like when I have talked to anyone else that doesn't work for him anymore... "blah blah asshole, blah blah, I'm in talks about coming back bla bla"

Everytime I meet a wrestler I pretty much feel obligated to tell them a memory I have of them and make them feel good. I had to do this to Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji, Buff Bagwell, Freddy Joe Floyd (Tracey Smothers), Mosh, Alundra Blaze... etc... They always say the are in talks with Vince haha.

If Vince is such an asshole, why would he be interested in going back?

Thats whats great about it, they all hate him but would give anything to go back and not get paid 21 bucks and a round of beers to wrestle.

Only ex Vince guy I've ever had the chance to spend a few hours with was Tracy Smothers and he was one of the nicest guys I've ever met in any line of life. Didn't have anything bad to say about Vince either. Just JBL.
