View Full Version : So...Does WWE do this regularly?

Years ago, I was thinking multimedia promotion of WWE was a good idea, and it always frustrated me that they didn't really seem to do much to that effect.

According to the news board, they're using WWE Magazine to push Ken Kennedy as the bastard child. Granted, he's now suspended and likely not to be the child, but it's a good idea, and I think (aside from the unfortunate element that the drug scandal turned up) this is a good idea.

Does WWE do this often with their other media?

I don't think they magazine should be used as such, but the web site should be. It is a lot more flexible.

It's all gonna be KAYFABE anyway, so why not actually serve some real purpose?

The WWE should use whatever medium they can. Their website, their magazine, sky-writing, whatever. I like the article furthering Mr. Kennedy's development in kayfabe. While he should be written off as the bastard child, they could follow up his WWE Magazine article with something on their website, talking about how he is taking time off to search for his biological father.

There isn't enough time on WWE television to get everyone over, but if they used all the power within their reach (including using shows like Heat and AM RAW), the WWE could be much more efficient.

rofl; skywriting would be great. (No, I'm not making fun of you or looking to start a fight, just mildly amused sitting here imagining a plane in the sky writing messages to further WWE storylines.

I could see the skywriting bit, myself.

Honestly, with the flexibility to change a website, they should use it more, but then again the web site should only count the way house show title victories count. Only when WWE says they do.
