View Full Version : The way to keep Kennedy in the angle.

So with Kennedy taking a 30 day suspension (I am assuming), the best way to keep him in the angle is have him be the child. He comes out and celebrates and such, but McMahon just stands there. Kennedy gets on the mic and such gloating, saying how they will run this place. McMahon gets on the mic and screams "YOUR FIRED!", and then saying he was a disgrace to the McMahon name.

Once his suspension is over, McMahon is getting into some trouble with HHH or some other superstar. Kennedy makes the save, McMahon then hugs him. Best way to keep Kennedy in the angle imo.

Would be a good idea, except that Kennedy already came out and said he was the son, and Vince already embraced the idea of Kennedy being his son. So logically, Vince wouldn't fire him if he really was his father. Then again, this is the WWE, where logic is a myth

"Things are looking up" does fit Kennedy...

I like threeads about MISTERRRRRRRRRR KENNEDY!!!!

Seriously, WWE needs to do what 525,600 of us have already said. The bastard that they're going to bring out on Raw is going to try to scam Vince.

Ya know, what if Kennedy isn't suspended? Why would they have put any focus on him in the closing segment on Raw last week? Why would they have shown that replay pf him and Vince on ECW and SmackDown? Why did they just put a new video on Kennedy on wwe.com?
You didn't see a replay of Regal or Umaga getting beaten down? Hell, did they even mention the new IC champ on SmackDown or ECW? Hell, the main thing on wwe.com right now is about Kennedy.
What if this is a work? WWE hasn't said "The following people are suspended." What if WWE fired Nick Dinsmore instead of punishing Kennedy? Dinsmore might have taken Kennedy's spot on the list of 10 suspended wrestlers. Resthold Randy and Dancin' Dave aren't getting suspended.

My personal call on this mess is Kennedy, be it tomorow night or in 30 days, will be Vince's son.

...KENNEDY!!!!

With the blatant hints the WWE were dropping every week about Kennedy, it would have been harder to draw this out for another month (assuming that's what they were going to do in the first place since WM is still quite far away). With an upcoming con artist, it buys Kennedy some type of feud before he is actually named Vince's son, and probably gives him someone to go over. Whether he's suspended or not wouldn't matter in this scenario.

Kennedy looked like the biggest tool last week. I love him, but he was claiming to be Vince's son with evidence like "My last name is the same as your middle name?" What the fuck does that have to do with anything? I get that people want Kennedy to get a push, but this thing is hurting him rather than helping, in my opinion.

Next week, I would have Mr. Kennedy make an appearance. When Vince, Jonathan Coachman, Vince's attorneys and maybe a combination of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon or Linda McMahon out there to watch in his humiliation, have Kennedy appear on the titantron (which will get a huge pop in Green Bay), and have him say that he is recording this as of the week prior, and that he has asked this to be played to explain why he is not in Greeeen Baaay, Wisconsin(!) tonight. He has decided to go on a search for his real biological father, as he can no longer compete with the image of a man watching him wrestle, without knowing whether or not he is proud.

Kennedy then takes some time off for his suspension, he gets to appear in a segment with the big stars, and he can return as he was before this shit dragged Kennedy into it.

At this very moment Vince is cursing the moment he let Rob Conway go....

If you then want Mr. Kennedy involved in the angle, for whatever shitty reason, just have Vince's son at ends with him, and have Kennedy return and claim that he is not Vince's son, but he does idolise Vince, because he is a better man than his real father could ever be. Or you can have the son align with Vince, as well as Kennedy, and have an awkward main event-level team formed, with a bit of a rivalry between the two.

There is really no need to make Kennedy Vince's son, especially after it has been stated that he's not. People get pissed off at TNA for that kind of writing, the same standard should apply to the WWE.

I know you were joking, but I would mark out if Rob Conway cons his way into appearing to be Vince's son, just so he can get back in the WWE, this time as a somewhat credible act.

I don't think he was pointing these things out and actually claiming them as "evidence", but more like saying they were more than coincidences. After all, they did do a segment the week or two before, where Vince pointed out the last name/middle name thing.

Not to mention, it's a common naming convention.

People do that shit all the time, so while it's not proof, it certainly is a good way to casually brooch the subject.

I know it's common, but it still irritates me. I wouldn't mind it if they had Kennedy say "What if it is destiny that I chose my name to be Mr. Kennedy?" The way it came off, though...I dunno, it just sounded like Kennedy was saying "I have the same surname as your middle name, I don't know my father...we MUST be related." It made him look really short-sighted.

I'd rather Kennedy not having anything to do with this. He was gaining fine momentum on his own.

Do you know why he was sent to Raw in the first place? Triple H wanted to absolutly bury Kennedy for some odd reason (he thought there weren't enough heels on the Raw brand). It's no surprise that they wanted to try to fuck up Kennedy's momentum with the "Kennedy is Vince's son" thing. What kind of push is THAT?!

Here's hoping Kennedy gets swapped back to Smackdown, the only show where mid carders actually get pushed to main event status.

The idea of Kennedy being built up to be knocked down by Trips, much in the way all of Cena's opponents have been pushed fu'ed and then quickly depushed, well that idea makes me sick.

If they do the same thing to MVP I'll be pissed, as he and Kennedy are the brightest two stars WWE has in the mid card. (IMO)
