I don't know if this is true, but if so.
Hey, just got back from Green Bay, WI. today and I just wanted to pass along a note from after the show.
We had went to a local bar afterwards, and that seemed the
place to be! RIght when we got there we saw Kennedy (who we were THRILLED with seeing as he is suspended). We got our pictures with him as well, awesome guy! Also there were Carlito, Beth Phoenix, Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Santino Marella, Coach, Kevin Thorn, Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin, and last but not least, Randy Orton. I will get back to him in a minute. Everyone else here was awesome, signing autographs, pictures, whatever fans wanted. I even heard Kennedy say he would see Coach on October 1st. Must be when his suspension is over. Anyway, they
eventually moved the party to the upstairs to get some privacy. As
they were going up my friend asked Randy Orton if he could have a quick picture. Orton said, "everyone wants a quick picture." Then Orton took the camera upstairs with him and proceeded to throw it off, down to the bar. Luckily enough some other guy caught it and gave it back to my friend. Low and behold he realizes his sim card is gone from his camera. Eventually the police came and he explained he just wanted his card back, it had all our pictures from RAW on it. The officers questioned Orton, asked my friend if $100 would cover it. My friend said that was fine. Well it turns out Orton left right after the cops questioned him and had to pull him over to talk to him again. Turns out he autographed the $100 with his name. He addressed it, "To Dipshit". That pretty much sums up everything I have heard about Orton right there. He is a super ass. Everyone else was cool though.

PS (I will have a scan of the $100 later tonight, let me know if you want me to email you a copy of it)
Must be the roids...

Wow. I know he's a dick. But wow, that takes the cake.
People need to take Dipshit signs and chant Dipshit at him from now on.
Seriously, LOL, what a shit head (Orton, not the fan obviously).

Yeh but as a celebrity, you have to expect people to be attentive to you when you are out in public. If you don't like being a celebrity, then disappear for a while and give it up if it really is so awful.

Or at least figure out a place where you can go that is private and away from people. If you are going to go to a public place like a bar/club then they should expect it.

Exactly, if you want privacy go to a private place.
Hell, if I'M at a bar or club I don't get pissed off if somebody talks to me, sits by me, or dances near me. It's a fucking public place. What am I gonna be like, "EXCUSE ME! ASSHOLE! I WAS TRYING TO FUCKING DANCE OVER HERE AND I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND ME!"

They were headed to the private area of the bar according to the story.
Mercury Bullet

A bar is not a private place though, there may be secluded areas, but not the same thing. Now, if they we're hanging out on Randy Orton's front lawn having a BBQ and these fans came up into that area, that would be different. A bar is a public place. No sympathy for these celebrities that are being 'abused' by the masses (which are the reason they're a celebrity in the first place).

But stickly-stick, the story said they were hanging out in the non-private area for a bit before they headed up. And that is where this story got rolling.

I seriously think Orton stays in character sometimes. He's heeling it up. I mean, he's feuding with Cena right now at the top. If he's in kayfabe then I really think that's hillarious.

Wait...why did he give Orton his camera?
BigDaddyCool
09-11-2007, 08:42 PM
I don't think you understand what exactly he did here people.
1) He refuses to take a a picture for a fan
2) He steals a camera
3) He attempts to break stolen property
4) He steals a memory card/sim card
5) He avoids arrest
6) He keeps his cool and call the guy a dipshit for wanting a picture and doing nothing wrong.
That is right, he found a way to be an asshole 6 different ways from a simple, "Can I get a quick picture?"

That's like calling Jimmy Kimmel a celebrity, or some B grade actor.
People like Rock, Austin, Hogan, they all acheived celebrity status, but Orton, I would far from consider one.

A celebrity is just a famous person. To a wrestling fan, Randy Orton is a celebrity. Why else would this have even happened had he not been?

What I'm saying is that Orton wouldn't have been approached for an autograph if he wasn't a celebrity.
IC Champion

So if I ask Micheal Ryder for his autograph, that makes him a celebrity?
This wasn't about an autograph though, it was about a picture and, more importantly, Orton taking said camera and losing the memory card.
Someone pissed him off, Orton threw a tantrum and stole, (almost) damaged and lost property, that's the point. Say someone looked at him funny or said the wrong thing and Orton (a non-celebrity) took the offender's Cell Phone and threw it away? Same thing, he's a dick.

You're really nitpicking here. The guy, who didn't know Orton personally, still knew who he was (from television, no less). That makes him a level of celebrity. I'm not saying he's a mega celebrity icon or anything, but he's still a celebrity.

Right, I'm sure when they said "stay in character" they meant "steal and break shit, and if you see a bag, shit in it".

Right, I'm sure when they said "stay in character" they meant "steal and break shit, and if you see a bag, shit in it".
A couple things here.
He didn't "shit" in that chick's bag. He just put hair gel or something in it. Also, the bitch REALLY should have known who he was if she was working for the WWE.
Also, I don't think the WWE told him exactly how much of a dickhead to be. Maybe they didn't even tell him at all, but the fact of the matter is that it does nothing but help Randy Orton to look like an absolute asshole at all times. He at least paid for the "damage", and now this guy has a great story to tell.
