Gory mid-90's fighting games. It's really weird, I can sit and play any Manhunt / GTA type stuff all day, even the Soldier of Fortune series. But any time I walk past an arcade and there's an old Bloodstorm or Time Killers game, it'll put me off of anything that I'm eating. Crappy Jaguar fighters do it to me too, like Kasumi Ninja. And it's only that stuff that affects me. Bloody Movies / Tv I can take without a hiccup. I can even sit and casually munch popcorn while watching an Argento or Miike film. I dunno, maybe it's some wierd shit buried deep in my subconscious that has to do with Sprite-Based Gore. It doesn't happen that much anymore, with the death of arcades and all. Does anybody else have this odd personality tic? :?: I'd like to know what other gamers think.

Meh, Mortal Kombat doesn't have any affect on me. Remember, I said they had to be really crappy lol. I actually had a Jaguar with a couple of the Jag games. I found the system on clearance at a Kay-Bee for $30 after it died, with games $2-$3. Had Kasumi Ninja, Ultra Vortek (where you could turn the other guy into a pile of crap), and some others. I ended up giving the system as a present to somebody.

Is it because you played these games when you were underage?

I'm thinking that had something to do with it. My stupid 12-year-old ass playing Time Killers, unaware..... :(

Maybe it's because, from all I hear about the games you mentioned, the games sucked total ass, and might've made ANYONE lose their appetite.
