The following took place on Tuesday in Atlanta, GA:

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings (Air Date: Sept. 21):

- The taping kicked off with the Teddy Long and Kristal Wedding. Comedian Bruce Bruce was the Reverend, while Vince McMahon, Arn Anderson and wrestlers from all three brands were also present. Jillian Hall comes out to sing for them and gets dragged away. The Godfather then appears bringing out the "Ho Train" and takes all the male guests to the back. Hornswoggle appears and crawls from under Kristal's dress. Jonathan Coachman chases him to the back. A loud "WE WANT WRESTLING" chant reportedly started up.

- Teddy Long and Kristal then begin to exchange vows when Long passes out. Long is taking out of the ring by medics to the back.

- Batista then comes to the ring showing off his newly won World Heavyweight Title. It is believed this will start off the show and that the wedding will close the episode to air this Friday.

- Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Jamie Noble.

- MVP and Matt Hardy have a contest throwing a football through a tire backstage. Hardy wins.

- Deuce & Domino defeated WWE Tag Team Champions MVP & Matt Hardy in a non-title match.

- Mark Henry challenges Batista to a non-title match tonight.

- Michael Cole interviews Rey Mysterio. JBL tells Cole he is being too nice to Mysterio and JBL confronts him. Mysterio challenges JBL to a match, but JBL said he can't wrestle because of his announcing contract. JBL does know someone Mysterio can fight out and Finlay comes out. Finlay lays out Mysterio in the ring.

- Mark Henry defeated World Heavyweight Champion Batista via countout when The Great Khali interfered.

Post-Taping Bonus Match:

- World Heavyweight Champion Batista & The Undertaker defeated The Great Khali & Mark Henry.

The problem isn't in star power (and even it if was, Jericho isn't the kind of star to be able to turn it around, get off his dick.) The problem is bad writing and horrible direction. The biggest thing on all the shows was the bastard son angle. Now Smackdown is having a wedding between 2 non-wrestler, plus all wedding angles have sucked and get fucked up. Who didn't see this one getting ruined as well?

What the fuck..?

BTW on an irrelevant note has any one else noticed that if you look at Teddy Long and squint a little he looks a little like a black turtle with his neck sticked out.

That segment sounds like it is better than the whole rest of the show.

If you were at home watching Smackdown on your birthday you should be shot, I don't give a shit how good or bad of a show it is.

watched the wedding on TV though, it was pretty fun, mainly the little things about it
