If they do the right thing and put on LONGER matches instead of more matches, they could do well, but I think they will just put on more matches.:|

I think it will help,

Currently TNA is very squashed, and the show before the PPV is very main event focused (as it should be) thus taking away from some of the other matches, with an extra hour not only does your hard sell for PPV’s gain better coverage.

But the extra hour can be put towards better use to get more guys over, after reading the first 2 hour show, it does seem like a let down, there’s no BIG moment from it, I would hope for something like a title change or a debut to get people interested in seeing what TNA is like when they can pace out the show.

So can it help them, in terms of ratings and profits? Of course, will it? Time will tell as a lot of factors need to fall into place, but it’s not like gaining another hour is going to hurt the product.

It will give them the time to book better. Now, will they actually book better...that remains to be seen.

It will be longer, that is all.

I voted better, but I really think it will only be marginally better.

It's not about length, it's about thickness

just looked at the spoilers for the first show and no, it's pretty much the same, just longer. Cluster fucks and all.

It'll stay the same. If they can't keep it interesting for 1 hour how will they for 2?

Sometimes I see this show and it look ok, but then other times *most times* it not interesting at all. A person wood think they can be able to be better now but maybe it only be more time to do the same things.

I don't think a second hour will actually help, but I voted that it would because I hope it's true.

It depends. Two hours of crap is no better than one hour of crap. If they do what they need to to create a more watchable product, the second hour could be the difference. Lengthen the matches a bit AND make them better, then you can have one or two more... that hopefully don't all end with ring-clearing brawls, I mean.

It sounds like all they did for the big debut was make it longer.

I'll watch it, because I have nothing better to do on a Thursday night, except masturbate, but I'll give my wrist two hours of break time to see if it is improved. I don't completely trust spoilers because they're tainted by the author's opinion.

But really, if you can't get your primetime two hour slot debut right, what hope is there for the rest of the programming?

I mean, it's like WCW. To me, Monday Nitro was a way to watch wrestling during commercials or Triple H's 20 minutes.

Who or what is this supposed tn--whatever:?:

Nah, but for serious, it'll just end up giving you a feeling the reverse of DoubleMint Gum. Double your agony, double your boredom.

I tell ya, those wood persons are not quitters. Always thinking they can be able to be better.

A longer program means shit if the booking still sucks complete ass.

It depends. This means Russo now has 2 hours to fill with shitty gimmick matches and bad storylines.

I really like TNA, but at the same time I hate all the shit they produce. They should have Christian and Angle be the main focus of every show. Christian's been consistently great for a while now in TNA. If he was the main focus of every show, I'd enjoy Impact regularly.
