I don't see a thread on it - nor have I seen it yet - but I want to and want to know what other people think. From the reviews I've read, it's filled with flaws but if you don't go in there to analyze it, the movie is quite enjoyable.

I think it was great. It's a musical so don't expect it to be realistic and you'll be fine. It's great.

I'm gonna have to cross two state lines to be able to see this movie. Limited-release sucks when you live in the middle of nowhere.

Thin on plot but so full on style that it becomes just a fantastic and fantastical experience. An interesting piece of cinematic art.
Fantastic and fantastical experience?
Wow couldn't settle for one fantastic, had to have 2 huh...

I still need to see it. My sister didn't really like it but I am going to go high as hell and no matter what it will be pretty tripped out I think.

I thought it kinda sucked. There were a couple great scenes and musical numbers (Across the Universe, Strawberry Fields etc). But the rest of it was a mess. The subplot with Sadie and the african american fellow was terrible and underdeveloped. Joe Cocker's version of Come Together was embarrassing, and I kinda wanted to leave when Bono showed up.
