Occasionally I like to see what's cooking down in the developmental leagues, as this is where the WWE usually likes to get their stars from, as they are considered "homegrown," and generally get better treatment than someone who comes into the WWE from somewhere else. John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton have all been talent that have gotten their first real starts in the WWE's developmental leagues.
Anyway, here are some of the WWE's developmental talent that I think should be getting looked at by the WWE, and the ones I think that have the best chance of getting called up. There have been quite a lot of injuries recently, and the there are rumours that ECW is looking to recruit. So without further ado, here we are.
1. Michael W. Kruel and Roucka
These two would make a great pair to bring up to either of the three brands, in my opinion. Michael Washington Kruel loves America...and is hated for it. It's refreshing to see a patriotic gimmick used for a heel. Kurt Angle was almost the same thing, but initially he was a babyface, and the whole "Olympic" thing was kind of built in to him. Michael W. Kruel could be a great mid-card heel act.
Roucka was of course discovered by the WWE during an annual cunt hunt. I can't remember which one, but she's actually turned into a pretty decent performer, by the sounds of it. She's currently OVW's Women's Champion, over some talented female workers, so I assume she can at least string a match together. She and Mike Kruel would make a great heel duo, and I think SmackDown! might be the place for them. I get the feeling they are considering a Women's Division there, and Roucka could help establish that. Mike Kruel as WWE United States Champion would be something too great to not happen down the line.

Drew Galloway
I often jump the gun with my proclaimation that a developmental guy has potential. I mean, they do, but the WWE finds a way to fuck it up. One guy I can't see the WWE fucking up with is Drew Galloway. He is their wet dream. Originally from Scotland, Drew Galloway is a 6'5, 250lbs pretty boy, with the kind of elegence that could be easy to either like, or dislike. He has a similar training background as Paul Burchill, and while it would be unreasonable to compare the two (as Paul Burchill is pretty fucking phenomenally gifted), I think Galloway would be able to move around the place quite well for a man his size.
"Thee" Drew Galloway just oozes the charisma of a guy you want to see get sliced up, and if he were allowed to be likeable, the guy you want to see slice someone up. I can just see this guy working.

Kofi Kingston
This is a guy that got on wrestling news reports because the WWE were apparently high on his progress. Basically he plays a plucky babyface from Jamaica. If that does not get over, I don't know what will. With the WWE not having many face characters to call up, Kofi Kingston is one of those guys who could just show up and instantly be likeable.
I'd give this a guy a good start on ECW, where a lot of developmental talent is expected to start showing up.

There is a larger pool of talent I want to explore, but I will stop at these four for now.
