Yeah I just thought some of these were interesting and if they ended up being true, how they could've changed wrestling as we know it today.

Interesting rumors from 1990:

1. There were plans for the Bushwackers to win the straps from Andre/Haku at Wrestlemania VI and then Andre turns on Heenan. This cause THE HART FOUNDATION to attack Andre and join The Heenan Family.

2. WWF almost brought Paul E. Dangerously in as a commentator in 1990 to replace Tony Schivane, but the NWA promised him a manager role.

3. Bobby Eaton was rumored to join the Four Horsemen after they turned on Sting the first time around.

4. Bam Bam Bigelow returning to the NWA as a heel with Oliver Humperdink to feud with Lex Luger over the NWA Title.

5. Ric Flair was rumored to being coming to the WWF a year earlier than he did to feud with then WWF Champion Ultimate Warrior. That would've led to Lex Luger's first World Title reign as Sting was still injured at this point.

6. Tully Blanchard was rumored to come back to the NWA as a BABYFACE to feud with the newly reformed Horsemen.

7. The Legion of Doom were rumored to debut in the WWF as heels to feud with the still babyface Demolition.

8. Marty Jannetty was originally slated to be the heel in the Rockers breakup.

9. King Kong Bundy was rumored to rejoin the WWF and Jimmy Hart to team with Earthquake.

10. Not only that, but King Kong Bundy was also rumored to be inside the mystery egg. Another rumored person to be in the egg was none other than The Undertaker, whereas Randy Savage was rumored to be Ted DiBiase mystery partner at the Survivor Series.

11. More Horsemen rumors had Rick Rude joining the group replacing either Arn or Flair.

Yeah my biggest chuckle has to be of The Undertaker hatching from that Survivor Series egg. Although I doubt he would've actually been using The Undertaker gimmick.

And The Hart Foundation joining the Heenan Family?

...Randy Savage was rumored to be Ted DiBiase mystery partner at the Survivor Series.

Yeah, I remember thinking that back then, on the sole basis that he was on TV as the Macho King at the time, but not involved in an actual feud.

good post Koos. I've heard a couple of those. Some of those are so bogus (Jannetty going heel) but some were talked about.

Here is some from 1991

Interesting rumors from 1991:

1. There was a rumor that Alexandra York's (aka Terri Runnels) real name was Alexandra Ross, J.R.'s daughter.

2. Ted DiBiase was originally slated to interrupt Savage and Liz's wedding at Summerslam setting up a Savage/DiBiase feud. However those plans changed when The Warrior left the company since Warrior and Roberts were in the early stages of feuding.

3. After signing with WCW, Rick Rude was orginally going to debut as a babyface.

4. Sid Justice was originally suppose to make his WWF debut at Summerslam facing Mr. Perfect for the IC Title instead of Bret Hart.

5. Dr. Death Steve Williams was rumored to debut in the WWF around Summerslam and team with The Undertaker. Hmmm Dr. Death, The Undertaker, and Paul Bearer. HA

6. Virgil was rumored to be put in a cross dressing angle and call himself Virgilina.

7. Hulk Hogan was slated to start a program with The Warlord after Summerslam.

8. The Ultimate Warrior was rumored to be the man who sent those mystery boxes to Sting. It ended up turning out to be Lex Luger.

9. Demolition was rumored to show up in WCW after leaving the WWF.

10. There were talks of bringing in Madusa to manage Ric Flair in the WWF.

11. Rick Martel was rumored to be showing up in WCW and being one of the first members of the Dangerous Alliance.

12. Likewise with Dino Bravo.

I came across a list last night. A little bit different though.

1. Kevin Sullivan spends his vacations at a nudist colony. Take that image through the day.

2. Tommy Rich soaked his balls in a beer mug full of hydrogen peroxide.

3. Roddy Piper having a young "manservant" type who travels with him wherever he goes, holding his bags, opening doors for him, etc. Piper and others referring to the young boy as "cocksucker" like it's his name.

4. Tommy Rich did some favors for Jim Barnett in exchange for the NWA World Title.

5. They had to break Brusier Brody's legs to fit him in a cheap Puerto Rican casket.

6. Virgil got a job by unleashing his hose on Pat Patterson's desk.

7. Kerry Von Erich really had his foot amputated because he thought he could walk across a room on his just-surgically repaired foot for a cheeseburger, thus crushing it.

8. NWA World Champion Gene Kiniski bought Kevin Von Erich a hooker in Las Vegas, when Kevin was TWELVE.

9. A coked up Kerry and Kevin were once playing with a saw blade in the back hallways at the sportatorium. Kerry saw a cat, so he threw the saw blade at the cat, killing it.

10. Kerry Von Erich sees a cat in the All Japan lockerroom. He decides to put the iron claw on it, killing the poor kitty.

11. Steve Lombardi is/was Pat Patterson's secret lover.

Part of like a 460 long list. Anyone seen it before? Some of it's ridiculous, some of it's true, some if it's...strange.

hmm, Demo should of went to WCW. Though I know the Rcokers were offered a contract of less then what they were making in WWE, so maybe they weren't high on those tag teams.
