View Full Version : What I hope happens at Cyber Sunday

This won't happen, but I hope Vince realises that the way to destroy D-Generation X is to play their egos and passion to each be WWE Champion against them. Have the fans choose between Shawn Michaels and Triple H as Randy Orton's possible opponents, with the loser of the poll facing Umaga. HBK of course wins, and gets the nod to face Orton. Triple H defeats Umaga earlier in the night, but is none too happy about being overshadowed by his friend.

Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton work their magic, but the match ends when Triple H attacks HBK, giving him the DQ win. Triple H continues to beat down Shawn Michaels after the match, and Randy Orton joins in, wanting to put HBK back on the shelf. That's when the "Save_us.222" videos come to an end, and Chris Jericho makes his return, hitting both Randy Orton and Triple H with steel chair shots. Then, for all that is pure in this world, give us Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho leading a team against Randy Orton & Triple H at Survivor Series.

Anyway, that's just my little fantasy.

Me too, really, but I think it would make a fair bit of an impact if done right. I wouldn't just have him run out without any kind of show. Give him the cryptic video lead-in to his theme, and some pyros going off, and Randy Orton and Triple H stopping what they are doing to pay attention in a "What the fuck is this interrupting us for?" moment, only for "JERICHO" to flash along the titantron and then he comes in full force.

I'd have HBK and Jericho as more the uneasy face alliance. They don't have unneccessary tension, but they aren't good buddies. Jericho wants to be WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels wants to make Triple H pay (and be WWE Champion), Randy Orton wants to keep the WWE Championship and Triple H wants to deflect Shawn Michaels' attempts at payback (and be WWE Champion). In the end, it'd probably end up more like Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, and something closer to a four-way feud than a buddy-buddy tag team thing.

I'll be interested to see what they're gonna do with Jericho. Theres of course gonna be forces at work to hold him back, but with the state things are in and the lack of Cena and Kennedy in the doghouse I think he's got a strong shot at getting the Mania push on Raw.

They're gonna be hardpressed to make him a heel since he's gonna be over as fuck with the crowd for at least a few months. HHH is the only major face on the show right now really. HBKs back, but that will fizzle and I don't see them headlining mania with him unless its in a clusterfuck main event.

Anyways, this thread is about Cyber Sunday. I figured this would be when Jericho returns, but I don't mind the idea of them teasing it for a bit.

I'd love to see Vince align with Orton, since he already kinda has. And then build a new corporation type stable around him. Jericho shows up as this huge face, but he's technically not contracted. He's back but Vince doesn't like it and doesn't allow him to be part of Raw.
Have Jericho fight for his spot on Raw, and then a shot at the title in a fued with Vince/Orton culminating in Wrestlemanias main event.

In case you didn't notice, it's kind of a rehash of Austin/Corportation. But what is'nt a rehash these days, and it's been 10 years. It'd work perfectly and I'd love to see a badass face Jericho with a lot of face heat on his return working the whole against the odds angle. Orton is solid as a heel right now and will only get over more with a lengthy title reign and Vince in his corner.

Bull shit. I feel good for the Smackdown people, they don't have anyone to be buried by now. You think MVP could shine like he does if he were surrounded by those guys you mentioned?

The thing is, Triple Z is already boring at this point. I'd much prefer him as a heel than an unfunny babyface trying to convince us he's more popular than doggy style.

Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H never thrilled me when it took place in 2002/2003/2004, but you cannot deny the quality of the matches. HBK also has some lightning in a bottle back with his return. The fans would eat up coked up Shawn getting some revenge on Triple H, and it provides a strong program away from the WWE Title picture (Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho).

That’s a pretty decent and realistic angle, can probably see that happening. It’s good, so it probably won’t happen.

Won't happen since none of them want to be heel again. HBK don't turn it completely down but HHH want to be face the rest of his carreer.

Ok, I think you’re saying that both HBK and HHH want to be faces for the rest of their career’s

I’ve heard HBK say that, but Trips? He’s still got at least a decade ahead of him, plus he’s more effective as a heel.

Actually I'd heard Trips was actually pretty interested in remaining face for the rest of his career/for a good couple of years.

Yeah, I've heard that Triple H is open to the face role, but he has to realise he's better as a heel, and it's got to be more natural. I think he'll definitely end up a heel again within the next year.

Meh. Smackdown's main event guys right now are Batista, Khali, Undertaker, and Mysterio (plus Edge when he gets back.) If you add Kennedy and Jericho to the current Smackdown mix you have an upper midcard of those two plus Mark Henry (rumored to be swapping places with Umaga, not much of a difference,) MVP and Matt Hardy. So you basically have a full main event scene plus a few guys who you can throw in as filler challengers. MVP and Kennedy's best shots right now are proving themselves as solid US and IC title guys, not blowing their loads (not that Kennedy hasn't.) The MVP/Hardy feud is a good one in large part because it's two guys and not the usual five contenders. Keep Kennedy on Smackdown and in an equally solid program over the IC title, and keep them away from outside competition for a while. Then, in a year or so, you can build a fantastic program between the two of them. WM25 - Kennedy vs MVP, IC vs US title match? Imagine the MASSIVE buildup for that.

I dunno, i see it as who has proper established superSTARS

RAW: HHH, HBK, Orton, possibly Y2J, Booker, Cena

SMACKDOWN: Undertaker, Batista, Edge, Kane, Henry, Mysterio

Its pretty even to me

By the way, i consider an established superstar to have been in at least 3 smackdown vs raw games, can't say fairer than that

Decent idea. Rather is turn out to be a fatal four way or something with everyone against everyone. Both HHH and HBK should have it in for Orton as he put both on the shelf. Jericho never liked HBK or HHH. From what I understand Orton and Jericho have very little history together, but niether would like each other. Actaully, brain storm:

4 Way Elemination with Jericho and Orton being the first ones out. Micheals is looking across the ring at HHH as he rise from just pinning Jericho. The two men circle each other seething with hate for one another. Cursing each other as the circle get tighter and tighter. The crowd is getting deadly silent with anticipation. The 2 are in each other's faces waiting for the other to make the first move.

HHH pulls back for a punch, HBK ducks. HBK spins around with the sweet chin music but Hunter ducks knowing it is coming. As HBK stumbles from the missed super kick, HHH goes for the pedigree but HBK powers out dropping HHH on his back, HBK goes for the pin 1...2...HHH reverse 1...2...kick out at 2.99999. Both men stare each other down again knowing each other's move and attack 3 steps before they are going to do them. They tie up again. HHH gets Micheals in a head lock. Micheals pushes Hunter off into the ropes. Trips bounce out the ropes ducking HBK's clotheline. And coming back the other way HHH get caught in HBK's FINGER POKE OF DOOM!!! HBK gets the pin. HHH shoots right up, hugs and celibrates with his old friend and gives the arena crotch chops and the finger.

The next night on Raw HBK tells HHH he can have a title shot when ever he wants. Then the 2 proceed in burying the rest of the rost and trading the belt back and forth. K4L.

Ok, let me rework it. Still ends with finger poke of doom. But the next night they are still buddy buddy and watching each others back only every one is pissed off at them. Vince is pissed. Jericho and Orton realize that they were being played. The audience is pissed because they feel a bit ripped off (even though HHH and HBK gave them a match before the finger poke of doom). But everyone sees the kliq for the self centered assholes they are. The kliq revels in this. But everyone is now against them. All the heels and all the faces hate them.

BigDaddyCool
10-09-2007, 03:35 PM
Oh, and also Orton keeps trying to get his title back from them and runs through that fued quick. While Jericho is a slow burn and mentions he will have his revenge. And he makes it feel like it isn't just for not winning at survivor series, but revenge for being held down all those years. He win the rumble and get his rematch at Mainia.

BigDaddyCool
10-09-2007, 03:38 PM
The night after mainia, Jericho is celibrating his win. The crowd is going wild. The kliq has been vanqueshed for now. He is on top of the world. A pissed off bitter John Cena who we have heard of since Monday October 8, 2007, comes out and attackes Jericho destorying the new champ. Leaving Jericho in the ring and walks off like nothing happened, not playing to the crowd. Not doing hand signs. Just bitter and angry

The Triple H and Shawn Michaels heel turn is actually not a completely awful idea, BDC. It's quite intriguing, actually. Triple H needs to be a heel, that's all I'm saying. The guy is just not likable.

Chris Jericho getting the big push to win the WWE Championship is great stuff. Especially if he defeats Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. I also like the idea of a Jericho vs. heel Cena feud, although it would have to happen a little later than the night after Mania.
