I love Manson and all, but you're a moron.

There's NO ONE ELSE like Manson at all? No. Not At All.

I like his stuff, though there was something lacking in his most recent offering.

Mechanical Animals still kicks ass though.

Oh, come on, Cooper SO stole his look from Manson. A man who wears makeup and uses a woman's name?

He has some okay music. A lot of it is garbage though. His look/image/persona is what takes him to the bank, though as previously pointed out, really isn't anything that groundbreaking.

Love the music, hate his face and everything about him. I listen to him alot, but I would never be caught near a concert.

He's got some okay stuff, not on my favorites list though. I'd never buy an album of his, but I'd definately download some stuff.

Not nearly as insane as I was raised to believe. Rob Zombie is more audibly disturbing, yet he's more socially accepted. I like 'em both, just pointing out an example of the shit black rockers deal with down in MIA.

I was a huge fan of him from 13-16ish... I LOVE Portrait of an American Family, Antichrist Superstar, and Coma White. After that I didn't really buy his CD's anymore, but those CD's are truly great, especially Superstar.

Wow, musically kinda meh.

Scapegoated a lot moar than he probably deserves. Like that shooting yesterday, the kid said he worshipped him.

It is his own fault.

It's kinda like going out and pretending you're a drug dealer and whining when you get arrested for dealing drugs.

I think I may own all of Manson's stuff, barring the odd single, so obviously, I don't hate him. A lot of his work is pretty standard fare, maybe with slightly more questionable lyrics or something, but most of his "shock" is from an onscreen persona and whatnot, and I could give a shit less about what he does on stage or in private. He's got more than enough solid hits for a best of, and I'll probably buy his music on faith in the future, but he's got a lot of lackluster stuff in his collection, too. I found myself buying a few of his CDs used so I could get just one or two songs, since the record was lacking.

I don't much care for him really. Not my cup of tea, and it amazes me how he's managed to bang so many hot women.

was a HUGE fan of his from the ages of 12-16 and still like him now. Makes good music and while not everysong on his cd is amazing, none the less they are all pretty good for the most part. Def the goods.

His shock has pretty much worn off.

The thing I find funny is how he appears to have a good sense of humor from various interviews, while his fans are pathetic, humorless, and hate the world,

Kane Knight

If the only reason you like Manson is the shock (like the humorless kiddies), then you pretty much have no taste in music to begin with.

Manson can be a pretty damned good musician. The ironic bit is he'd probably be nobody without the shock, the urban legend, the innuendo...

Im a big fan of Manson's music. Whilst I think the actual guy is a complete screwball, his records are excellent. The best album he released was the live album "The Last Tour On Earth". His latest albums are not on a par with Holywood or Antichrist Superstar though.

I bought Portrait of an american family today. Taken me ages to get round to buying this bad boy, though I have a backlog of CDs to listen to at the moment, so it won't get listened to until next week.

And Mechanical Animals still remains his best album.
