So the new album has finally leaked online, and as expected from Say Anything, it's pretty hot shit. It's not much of a different album from ...Is A Real Boy, just longer (re-more goodness). Gotta listen to it some more before I give a solid opinion, but digging more than ...Is A Real Boy upon first listen.

Favourite songs are Skinny Mean Man, Baby Girl I'm A Blur, and Sorry Dudes. My Bad.

Plea is an amazing song to end the album with.

I absolutley love IDoTG. Favorite song right now has to be That Is Why or Good Bye Young Tutor, You've Now Outgrown Me

I was just reading about all of the guest spots on this album? Tell me how that sounds while it continues to download.

The guest vocals are done really well. No song (save The Church Channel) really relies on them. Some get a short verse to themselves, others just sing in more of a back-up role

I was just about to post this topic Blitz, but it looks like you beat me to it already :D

I'm downloading this now, will let you know how I feel about it once I've had a chance to listen to the two discs. I loved ...Is a Real Boy... so I have pretty high expectations ><

There are some great songs, but I really don't think that two discs was necessary. Maybe it'll grow on me, but there seems to be a lot of filler.

That's what I thought at first and I was mad disappointed. But then I gave it a second and thrid listen, now there's only one song I don't like (Tracking Device)

I heard a few of their songs on their MySpace. I am thrilled about this album.

I think the 2 discs are to make up for how long it took them to release this album. ...Is a Real Boy came out in 2004.

Gonna go look for it now, I've got pretty high expectations, ...Is/Was A Real Boy is probably one of my favourite albums

I only managed to download the first cd before it was all taken down.
Dunno, it's just not as good as "...Is a Real Boy"
Not trying to sound like one of those douche bag Green Day/MCR fans who complain about how the band was "better when they started out/when hardly anyone knew them"
but yeah, I don't think any of the songs are bad, it's just that with "...Is a Real Boy" I loved pretty much every song on the album, so this is a bit disappointing.

Yeah, that's how I felt at first. But after a few listens, it really grew on me. Now, I feel the same way about IDoTG as I do IaRB, I love every song almost just the same, can't pick a favorite.

You're really missing out on the second CD though, in my opinion it's the better of the two

Alright, found the second disc today and started listening to all of it together.
I'm definitely getting into it

This is up for album of the year for me. My favorite song is the one with guest vocals from Chris Conley.
