Exhbition games start in about a week and a half! Here is my preseason top 10

1. Memphis

All 5 starters return from Elite 8 team of last season and they add Derrick Rose one of the nations best high school players.

2. UCLA

They did lose Affalo but still have Darren Collison and a bunch of other talent. They also got a huge boost in the frontcourt with #2 HS player in the country Kevin Love.

3. UNC

Would have def been #1 had Brendan Wright hadnt gone pro. They also lost Rayshawn Terry. However they return Hansborough along with Ellington and Lawson is a very dangerous young backcourt. A concern about UNC this season is depth.

4. Louisville

This team got on fire the midway point of last season and it should continue as the Cards return 9 of their top 10 players from last year. Edgar Sosa is a great PG and they have a good frontcourt in Character, Clark, and Padgett. They have likely lost Juan Palacios for the season however due to injury but the Cards should still be dangerous.

5. G-Town

Although they lost Jeff Green to the NBA the Hoyas still have Roy Hibbert who I think is one of the best college basketball players in the country. They return plenty of guards.

6. Kansas

Kansas is loaded with depth and talent at guards and forwards. They return Brandon Rush, Darrell Arthur, Julian Wright, and Russell Robinson

7. Tennesee

Tennesee is young and dangerous. They only lost Dane Bradshaw. They have the Naismith Award winner IMO in G Chris Lofton. They also return Wayne Chism and the 3 Smiths.

8. Indiana

A sleeper NC is Indiana IMO. D.J. White is one of the countrys top big men plus Eric Gordon is going to be a scoring machine and one of the best players in the country as a freshman.

9. Washington State.

Who would have ever thought Wash St B-ball would be in the preseason top 10? They return their top 2 players from last seasons suprise squad in Low and Cowghill

10. Kentucky

UK is loaded and has lots of depth at the guard and swingman positions with players like Crawford, Bradley, Meeks, Jasper, and Legion. However losing Morris to the NBA and all the graduated seniors being frontcourt players there is a big gap at the PF and C spots. Getting one of the nations top players in PF Patrick Patterson was huge. But the rest of the guys are injured or inexpirenced. If the rest of UKs frontcourt play average then watch out because the guards are explosive this season.

Other teams to watch out for

Michigan State
Arizona
Texas
Gonzaga
Xavier
USC
Davidson

You forgot to mention

8. Indiana- Kelvin Sampson should have been fired two weeks ago and now a dark cloud will forever be hanging over the IU basketball program until he is fired. Because he's a fucking idiot.

Alford wasnt loved by Iowa fans though at the end thats why he took the NM job. I think if Sampson gets one more infraction hes def gonna get fired.

I thought the new things weren't a big deal, other then the fact that something happened again?

Memphis has a kid from Massachusetts playing significant minutes, that means they will probably win it all

He had a whole staff of idiots at OU too. His assistant, Ray Lopes, went to Fresno State and single-handedly destroyed their basketball program.

UK is my 1B fav college team along with Cincy as 1A. Pathetic loss for them to the #300 team in the nation that was preranked #8 in the Atlantic Sun Confrence. Forde claimed this game was a bigger upset than App St//Michigan because while App St was D 1AA they were the top power. While Gard-Webb is D-1 they were ranked 300th in D-1 b-ball, won only 9 games last season yet absoultely dominated one of college basketballs top traditional programs.

Some UK fans are already calling for Billy Gillspie to be fired after only TWO games as head coach and having already gotten commitments from some of the nations best high school b-ball players over the next 3 years.

Saw UNC Charlotte vs Davidson last night. Del Cury's son plays for Davidson and was like the 2nd highest freshman scorer behind Durant last year. The kid can fucking shoot. He hit just about every shot and from everywhere. He was pretty amazing to watch and was basically there whole team in the 2nd half. We still beat them thanks to 9 3's by Lee Goldwire. Awesome game. Charlotte could make a nice run this year

lol both Xavier and Tennessee's coaches got technicals for stepping out of the coach's box. These refs are awful. Ruining an amazing game so far.

I saw that as well, I guess like the head of officals was at the game though so the dudes where being extra strict for some reason. So stupid, especially "in this day and age" with all the TV coverage and everything. Pretty sure the dude would have just as much access to you officating performance whether he was there or not.
