Do Godsmack next.
Formed in Boston, this Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band has been popular since a decade. When asked for a defination for the band's name, vocalist Sully Erna said:Our definition of Godsmack is "instant karma". My drummer came into rehearsal one day before we were signed with a huge cold sore on his lip, and I made fun of him all day. The next day, I had a huge cold sore on MY lip; exact same size and spot. My guitarist said, "see, God just smacked you for making fun of him". That's what our band name means -- what goes around comes around.
The current band comprises off vocalist Sully Erna, Lead Guitarist Tony Rombola, Bass and Backing Vocals by Robbie and drums by Shannon. Their 4th album V debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart back in 06. Back in 2002 , they received a Grammy Nomination for performing Vampires.
IMO Top 3 songs from Godsmack: Awake, Whatever and I stand alone.
Post in your comments and rate them as thou desire.

Too generic, their songs are generally boring, repetitive, and hard to tell apart. Which makes them great for people who want to hear the same song ten times per record.
Got a few good songs, but really: 2/5.

You probably just don't know it. They weren't exactly unique when they debuted, and they are less unique now.
Probably would have gone nowhere but for VOOODOOOOOOOO!

If they are like KK says, generic rock, then I probably heard them and thought they were someone else.
But for you D-Mac I will download a couple of songs tonight and pass judgement.

I thought you'd get the Airplane reference. "I am serious, but don't call me Shirley." :p

I thought they got the name inspired by the Alice In Chains song?
They're not particularly good, and they're named after one of AIC's least good tracks
