:'(

WWE is saddened by the passing of Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/halloffame/fabulousmoolah/).
In the world of women’s wrestling (http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/fabulousmoolahpasses#), there will always be one irrefutable legend that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Fabulous Moolah (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/halloffame/fabulousmoolah/). She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. And with more than 50 years in the business (http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/fabulousmoolahpasses#) to her credit, she established a legacy that will never be forgotten, making her name synonymous with female wrestling.
WWE.com will have more on Fabulous Moolah (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/halloffame/fabulousmoolah/) as it becomes available.

I understand she was up there in her years, and she had a full life, but this still sucks.
Rest in peace Moolah.:wavesad:

She had a long life. RIP.

Truthfully I would have expected Mae to go first.

Jesus, now who'll do disgusting and offensive things when Vince has a brilliant idea to save WWE?

...I mean, Mae's still around, bt it's not the same without her partner in crime.

Seriously, though, it's a shame to see her go. Mostly, I just wanted her off my TV.

R.I.P. Moolah.

Who will take care of Mae, though?

Mae Young will fill Moolah's shoes and remind us all how much granny titties make us want to hurl.

My condolence to her loved ones and whatever.

But at least we will never have to see her and Mae on WWE ever again.

Hopefully Nancy Grace doesn't try and chalk this one up to steroids.

What really gets me, is that we're RIPing someone's ring name. I mean, really -- that can't be her real name.

Real name was Lillian Ellison. :wavesad:

What really gets me, is that we're RIPing someone's ring name. I mean, really -- that can't be her real name.

Let's face it- When Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio, Hunter Hearst Helsmly, Shawn Michaels, and other people who took a name and brought it to life pass away we'll be calling them what we knew them as. WWE.com has updated their site to show her real name, but to me, and most of you, she was The Fabulous Moolah.

I wasn't knocking her or anybody else for using the ring name. I just wanted to know who I was actually sending off.

Wow. Rest in Peace. She was definitely up there in age, but she was someone all of us have known for years, perhaps since we started getting into wrestling. And in that sense, we've never known wrestling without her, so it's one of those situations you can't ever really imagine.

She definitely lived a full life. But it's still a shame she's gone.
