From the news board on SAVE_US.

People are starting to get mad at me, saying I was supposed to be on Raw on Monday. I never said I was going to be there…I'm innocent! I'm Innocent!"
It actually never said that though. It said SAVE_USX29. Everybody thought that's what it meant but who knows. It's one of those things that people were assuming things that they shouldn't have been assuming.

He’s right.

I’m not pissed off he’s not on the show yet (assuming it is him) and WWE have never flat out said Jericho is coming back, so really no one has a right to be angry

The IWC is to blame for Jericho not returning when he was supposed to. That, or Val Venis ("2nd Cumming") had other plans instead. Expect him to debut on TNA as Vick Vaginia.

It's true. IT's all speculation, and the fault of anyone who ordered the PPV for him, or tuned iunto Raw for him, that they were let down, because they were the ones who built it up.

Just interesting hearing it straight from the guy who's supposed to be "it."

IT's funny though, because after the PPV and Raw, we got a lot of "WTF WWE...WHERE'S JERICHO?" responses.

At the same time though, they knew exactly what they were doing when they put those clues to the dates though.

First, stop and think about what you are saying.

WWE knew what they were doing.

Second, is it possible that X29 was not a date? I mean, considering people have come up with like 5 different meanings?

In the great book of Scientology it states:

Chapter 10

Verse 29

‘OMGZ it’s totally Jericho, lolz’

--

I’ve been totally sucked in by all this, and I’m still going to watch. I do love how they are playing up to the IWC though, Jericho having a book signing in the same area’s was genius.

Chris never flat out denies it’s him though, so it’s just a matter of sitting on your hands and waiting for him, I’m just looking forward to a new save_us vid. The little tune that goes with it sounds cool and even my Wife has been caught up with the messages now and she HATES wrestling

I still laugh out loud at the morons who purchased Cyber Sunday just to see Jericho debut.

Assuming, of course, it's intentional and not coincidence.

(yeah, first post here, but been reading tpww since 1998!)

I honestly think it was pretty interesting to see WWE theoretically actually pay attention to the IWC this last week. With how much anticipation the "X29" Raw had running behind it due to internet-based theories on Jericho's return, a big thing to wonder about is if the 2nd "saveus" video for the night was just to antagonize the IWC more. Add to that throwing Stone Cold's music and that video of him dressed up like Stone Cold, when it had been rumored all over that Stone Cold was gonna be at Raw. It seemed to me like last week's Raw was Vince McMahon and his writing staff laughing in the face of the IWC. And whether or not people were pissed off by Jericho not being brought in that day, people will still watch because the "saveus" campaign has been well designed enough that everyone wants to see what happens at the end of it.

Pissed people off or not, I think acknowledging the IWC was a brilliant move on creative's part, and the amount of things on WWE programming I'd say that about lately are very few.

They've been acknowledging the IWC on and off since the whole Matt Hardy / Lita / Edge debacle.

They've been ackowledging them longer than that. It's hard to bash someone you claim doesn't exist.

Well, am I the only one that thought Cyber Sunday was actually a good show and worth the money? Sure, the Michaels/Orton match was a cop out but almost every other match was good. The main event was Wrestlemania quality, Rey vs Finlay was pretty sweet, and Trips/Umaga delivered as well. It was a dman good show without Jericho.

I was so interested in it, I didn't notice when the webcast that was pirating it for us stopped entirely. I didn't see the main event, but the show was pretty craptacular. I wasn't pissed because Jericho wasn't there, because I didn't expect him to be there, and knew even he couldn't SAVE_IT.

I honestly enjoyed Batista and Undertaker's feud early in the year (WM, Backlash), but compared to that, I felt their Cyber Sunday match was very lackluster. Rey/Finlay was decent, which is more than can be said about most of Rey's WWE days. Triple H and Umaga have both had better matches, even matches with no rules, than the one at Cyber Sunday. While I was in favor of Orton retaining (it's way too soon, he hasn't blown all his potential yet), the ending was horrible. I was expecting a letdown, so I guess you can say they delivered!

Jericho is one of the few wrestlers that the fans want to see. He knows this. He knows that his return will be the biggest moment in recent wrestling history irrespective of how badly they fuck it up. He knows this.

Chris Irvine can come back when he wants, how he wants. Just because he can.

Wow a new guy with 3 posts, no red dot, and that makes good, intellectual posts. I say welcome good sir.

I don't get this. I mean, why is Jericho anymore the man for this? He just said that it's not his fault he hasn't returned yet. Of course it's not, the WWE is in charge of that.

If you're referring to people pinpointing the dates for when Jericho returns, you're exaggerating their certainty Jericho is coming back. People are more hopeful than anything.

Kane Knight

You could have stopped right there, and it would have read pretty much the same.

Nah, I think this is more a case of you misreading things completely, like the Punk out-popping DX thing.

That sentence contradicts itself so badly.

Oh, is this one of those mindless "Hey, it doesn't make much sense and completely ignores and adds our own elements of the story, but let's make lame jokes for no reason at all!" things?

Kane Knight
11-06-2007, 09:12 AM
That sentence contradicts itself so badly.

Actually, it doesn't.

It says "Hey, you're on to something--Oh wait, you're completely out of step with everyone else, and therefore are the last person to talk about misinterpreting things."

But you're not very bright or skilled in comprehension, so I don't expect you to get it.

Woah! Where did this new feud come from? 3rd thread with a KK/Aleinoid stand off.

It's a tough one to call, but i'm still going to have to go with a win for Cena

GOD DAMMIT! Cena Always pulls off the win!

Anyway, this is nothing new. Once in a while, Alienoid gets tired of being mocked for his inane ideas and starts PMSing on me. Even if I'm not the biggest antagonist, I am the one he fixates on. He'll eventually realise how stupid what he's saying is and stop posting, only to start in with the same inane shit again later in a different post.

Oh dude, come on! You’re hardly innocent.

You know you can be like an arsonist sometimes when the mood seems to strike you, which is probably why you end up being the prime candidate for any backlash.
