With the 21st annual Survivor Series this Sunday, all forces in the Land of the Extreme are focused on survival. That focus includes Superstars from SmackDown too, as Survivor Series kickoff week explodes on ECW on Sci Fi. The match originally set for SmackDown this Friday has been moved to the Land of the Extreme after an agreement between SmackDown Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero and ECW GM Armando Estrada. Thus, in preparation for the pay-per-view showdown, MVP & Mr. Kennedy will face The Hardys in tag action to commence tonight's show.

Days before they collide in the Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Match on Sunday, these four men will experience a Survivor Series prelude in the Land of the Extreme. Which team will survive? Will it affect the action, live this Sunday?

A few others with Survivor Series on their minds are those involved in the ECW Title Match, namely champion CM Punk who faces Jamie Noble tonight in a rematch from Friday Night SmackDown. As first announced on WWE.com last week, Punk will defend his gold against both John Morrison and The Miz in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series. Judging by recent weeks, it doesn’t look like Miz or Morrison will let the other be the man to dethrone the Straightedge Superstar. Will some solution emerge or will CM Punk continue to hold the gold as the two envious men cancel each other out? What last measures might each of these men take, just days before the high-stakes championship encounter?

Love hurts. Kelly Kelly felt that firsthand on the last ECW on Sci Fi when she was left nursing her wounds at the hands of Layla. Kelly hasn’t had much luck in her recent contests, suffering quick defeats to Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix and Layla in the past week. It appears as if she’s serious about doing some damage in the ring. Moving forward, will she improve on her performance? Will she or Mahoney be looking for revenge on The Miz and Layla?

Find out the answers to these questions and more on the next ECW on Sci Fi, Tuesday at 10/9 CT. Also, be sure to catch ECW in its entirety every week on WWE.com, available from Wednesday to the following Monday afternoon.

Finally.....Anybody Thrilla HAS COME BACK to the ECW thread!

*ahem*

Sorry about that, nasty cold.

So, the ECW main event is The Hardyz vs. MVP and Mr. Kennedy. Should be an OK match, but that's not very EXTREME. As long as The Miz and Elijah Burke are there, it should be fine.

Who else is watching?

I'm about to run to B-Dubs to pick up some wings, but I SWEAR I'll be back by the start of the show.

Terrible timing for TPWW to go down.

Good timing for TPWW to go back up, though.

Is MVP still the US champ?

Also, I hope Kennedy gets the duke here.

Why is Jeff Hardy painted green? I get the feeling that licking him would get me high.

I'm really enjoying the dynamic between MVP and Matt Hardy in these matches.

BigDaddyCool

Because Jeff is a drug addict. That is why he is green.

MVP is still US champ

I wish they would mention that every once and again.

For a second there, I felt like my return to the ECW thread was pre-empted by the Westminster Dog Show. :$

Also, THIS JUST IN: Xerzes wants to lick Jeff Hardy. :shifty:

Yeah I know I sound like JR here

But Jeff Hardy is gonna die in the ring one day

Kennedy is an overrated wind bag.

They constantly mention that MVP is the only dual champion.

Same here. Pretty unique feud. I hope they carry it all the way until Wrestlemania and have a sick match for the US title.

I'm confused, is the brandsplit over?

So Xerzes is a fat chick?

One can only hope.

Also, I guess Tazz didn't get the memo that they're just The Hardyz now, not The Hardy Boyz.

MVP is the greatest.

Nah, I think they're just hyping Survivor Series since they really aren't any real feuds to care about on the card besides MAYBE the WWE and World title matches, but I'm hard pressed to care about anything Batista does, and the Micahels/Orton feud is so ridiculously one-sided that I don't even know what to think about it.

I am thoroughly enjoying this match, for the record.

I like how matches don't always use finishers to end anymore.

What's happening/ what match is up? My fucking little brother hid the remote and is forcing us to watch "George Lopez" the show

The Miz and Morrison were terrible at the table. Were they talking about teletubbies at one point?

Anybody Thrilla
11-13-2007, 11:20 PM
I thought The Miz and Morrison were hilarious at the table. Moreso The Miz. Morrison said that The Miz looked like a mix between Ryan Seacrest and a Teletubbie. My favorite was The Miz, though: "Honestly, who loses to a hat?"

Anybody Thrilla

Also, way to shut down, TPWW.

McLegend

The hat comment was funny.

They just never stopped talking, and it was very distracting

It fit their characters, I thought. They've got mad beef, you see.

Morrison really hates the Miz's hat

Sorry, that's funny to me.

I watched about half the show. Turned it off when a match with four women I don't give a fuck about started. Turned it back on and saw Mike Mizanin at the announce table, turned it off for the rest of the show. Watched M*A*S*H instead of the overflow. I feel my time was better spent.

Did anyone notice Punk's little tribute to Eddie Guerrero last night?

Also I would've really enjoyed Punk/Noble if it wasn't for Miz and Morrison arguing like a couple of high school girls.

KingofOldSchool

Oh and Jamie Noble had more heat last night than Morrison has had during his entire run in ECW.
