...in main event title matches, I mean.

What, you thought this was some kind of heel turn against the Kliq? Ha ha. Dumbass.

I just don't want to see him in anymore title matches UNLESS HE WINS AT HIS NEXT OPPORTUNITY. The man has been in, off the top of my head, AT LEAST ten* main event PPV title matches since he returned in 2002, including TWO Wrestlemanias, and won the title ONCE for a title reign that lasted A MONTH. Putting him in a title match no longer serves to elevate or establish the man who beats him. It's expected now. He's going to get to the Ric Flair level of "if you lose to him, you must suck." The man needs to either get the belt or stay out of the main event. He's far too good to become a permanent main event jobber, dammit.

*As far as I can remember:

1) Survivor Series '02, Elimination chamber, won WHC.
2) Armageddon '02 vs HHH, lost WHC.
3) WM20, in a WHC match that ended in a no-contest when some idiot Canadian interfered and ruined the main event.
4) Backlash '03, in a WM20 rematch.
5) Royal Rumble '04, drew in a last man standing match with HHH
6) Taboo Tuesday '04, I think lost to HHH?
7) WM23, lost to John Cena
8) Cyber Sunday '07, lost to Orton
9) Survivor Series '07, lost to Orton
I know I'm missing at least one, which would bring it to an even ten.

I would like to see him as champ. I do get the sense if he's in a title match that he's putting the other guy over. I think they put him in the main event because he's talented in the ring.

Bad Blood '04 - hell in a cell - lost to HHH

I hadn't really paid much attention to this but you make a good point. I'd love to see him have one more strong title run, as he's still good enough in the ring to be entertaining, unlike many when they get to be around his age. Every time he is in one of these main events, though, he still carries the match to usually one of his opponent's best matches they've ever had. I'm not sure they've completely burned him to the point of a flair, though, yet. Even this last Survivor Series I didn't completely rule him out of possibly winning, though that might be due to the 5 superkicks 5 weeks in a row, but then a RKO the week before SS.

Either way, I'd love to see a HBK/Jericho title feud before they decide HBK isn't getting another title shot. The two of them had a great match at WM before, and I'd love to see a few more before he hangs it up.

Add the Backlash 4 way this year. But for me, it's in the buildup/who is opponent is etc. I've not expected him to win any of those matches (he looked good going into Mania this year but he was against Cena and 'Cena wins' so...) But with the right build up, I could happily buy into Shawn Michaels as a legit threat.

They always talk about Michaels and how he steps up for the big ones, well he hasnt been doing much stepping up, as he has been laying down and jobbing.

It's not like HBK got the Batista treatment and got 8 championship matches in a row. He's gone over enough in his career and been over in enough feuds between those matches. His jobs to Cena and Orton helped get them over (I know Cena has been over everyone, but Michaels was finally someone who mattered). I agree though, I would like to see him be champ, though preferably as a heel. He's definitely going over Kennedy though.

Michaels is one of the only positive things on Raw, and deserves main event status more than almost anyone else. 'd rather see new talent, but nobody carries the crowd. IT's kind of a "what are you gonna do?" thing.

I believe he still deserves to be in the main event by far. But I also agree he shouldn't lose everytime, since I now never expect him to win. He should win the title here and there, or at least once damnit.

Micheals for the most part has earned his title shots and they aren't back to back to back. Plus Micheals, unlike Batista, puts on a show everytime.

I know this has nothing to do with the original point, but he didn't lose at Cyber Sunday. He won via disqualification.

But he didn't win the belt. I think that's the point, he get's all these chances but doesn't win.

I know, but the first post says he lost to Orton. Not really trying to nitpick, just something I noticed.

Well yea, but like someone else said...I expect him to lose now. WM23 was the last time I remember really rooting for him to win, but after that I didn't hold much hope

I say at this point, he definately should just stay out of the main event, build back up a few wins, and if they really want to place the belt around him then place him back.

Well since he can't work house shows he wouldn't be able to hold the belt for any longer than what? a few days?

I think he should have one final run though. They can work something out.

Wait...Since when did working house shows come as a requirement for holding a title?

I remember shows where the highest guy on the card was, like, Rikishi.

Darth, you Kliq boys are heels. Get it right. The Optimists are the babyfaces. We're just not over enough.

I want to see a good mid-card feud for Shawn Michaels. Well, mid-card is not the right phrase. Just something away from the title picture. This program with Mr. Kennedy will do nicely. HBK should win the WWE Championship at either the Royal Rumble or No Way Out, though, and defend against Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. Triple H can work the retirement match with Ric Flair, and Randy Orton can maybe do something with Bobby Lashley. HBK vs. Y2J is the best main event the WWE can produce, I believe.

Then you're not the entire show, are you?

Also explains why the ratings are low.
