What Would Kevin Do?

Granted Sony is going to have an update soon so it plays Divx directly, using Winamp Remote, you can actually stream divx files (and probably others too) to your PS3, and watch it. Just set up WInamp remote, then in the PS3 browser, go to winamp.orb.com. From there you can watch them.

Pretty sure this works for the 360 too... I haven't tried it since I don't own one, but Winamp says it works for both.

Actually, you can do this with any system or any computer. It's something new they have been doing with Winamp 5.5 (it's worked with my Wii, too, as long as you have that internet channel)

This is assuming what I believe you're talking about is correct).

How do I get it working with the 360?

Okay so I'm definitely not streaming audio from it. It's unlistenable. I'll just stick with the Windows Media Player way.

Video so far though is really nice. Except my comp runs at 100% and sometimes if I pause the video it won't play back or my XBox will freeze up.

The next update for the 360 (on Dec 4) has support for MPEG-4 Part 2 codecs which means majority of the DivX files will now play.

Yeah it's not working for me. Runs for about 10 minutes then the picture stops and then 10 seconds later the audio stops and/or slows down.

I'll just wait till Tuesday. Maybe that will help.
