Vince as the greater power shocked me back in the day. Mind you I was still a kid then, but still.

Nobody was shocked by that. Well, except for Goldu-

Oh, I see what you did there. That was good. :y:

I agree with you 100%. I've been watching that lately on Dailymotion.com, and it was sick. I remember just sitting there and watching it with my friends and then going nuts. With the exception of Foley winning the title previously, that might have been the last time where I was truly pissed (in the best way) at the WWF

Eric Bischoff

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him walk past Booker T, and Booker's expression was exactly the same as mine.

I had no clue WWF had bought WCW until I turned on Raw that night.

So without a doubt that.

Foley winning the Title should be on there. Never expected that.

It wasn't very shocking. I mean, yes it was a nice suprise, but Foley had main evented a number of PPVs over the years and had been fueding with The Rock for the title at 2 ppvs prior to that. I didn't expect it, but when it happened it wasn't like HOLY FUCKING SHIT like it was with other things like Jeff Hardy's IC title win or Jericho's title win that never happened.

I got to see it happen twice tho

Not me. But that was pretty damn shocking. It was one of the most shocking things in years...it's only forgetten because a week later the most shocking thing of all happened and it wasn't a work.

Yeah me neither. I tuned in to see Vince watching WCW on a monitor and was like WTF?

Obviously the answer is Hulk Hogan ramming a semi into an ambulance

Even if it wasn't the most shocking, it was a really, really cool segment.

Jericho's (first) debut? The pop for that has to be the biggest I've heard on Raw

The Ravishing One

I'd go with the Austin/Tyson segment. That was awesome.

This list could be so much longer.

Gotta go with Vinnie Mac being revealed as the "Greater Power"

With a tie for second going to the Kaienti/Venis feud and Ausin/Pillman.

I went with Eric Bichoff being named RAW GM....it actually surprised me.....something that hadn't happened in a long time before that.

I went with Triple H marrying Stephanie.

While Vince McMahon being the "greater power" would have won it over for me normally, the fact that Bischoff revealed it on nitro about 30 mins before Raw went on the air ruined it for me. Though regarding the wedding, Triple H as a heel had just started growing on me, and him popping out and ruining steph and test's wedding like that (being that i could not stand test at all) was awesome.

That segment is so underrated. And yes, it was shocking.
It had a lot of hype to it, it was even full page advertised in the paper.

Everyone and their brother knew that HHH was coming out when "anyone who objects speak now", that was obvious and thats why the crowd rose for that. But NOBODY could have seen that swerve coming of him marrying her. And then the double swerve at Armageddon.
Underrated angle. Probably because it went to shit after WM2000

I'd go with McMahon challenging God.

I know I'm to Jericho lately as Zen is to Bret Hart. But in all honesty I want to say Jericho winning the title. Sure it all got taken back after a commercial break, but for about 10 minutes HOLY SHIT
