So what was the deal with RVD on Raw? One shot deal? Also, I didn't see him in the ring at the very end. Guess he left after his match.

My guess it was a one-off considering how short the match was. Though he obviously knew (or assumed) he would be wrestling since he had his gear.

Like I said in another thread, I'm thinking that segment may have been cut short due to time constraints because of the abrupt cuts made.

Additionally, here's an update from PWInsider:

Unless Vince McMahon floored Rob Van Dam with a huge contract offer last night, he has not signed with WWE. As of early yesterday, WWE sources have told me that he was only in to appear on the 15th anniversary show and as far as they know, nothing has changed. Given how RVD has been enjoying his time in California, my feeling is that it would take a huge deal to get him to return to WWE.
