Will we ever see wrestling rise again to the heights of the 90's. If so do you think it will be WWE and TNA or will another company emerge to challenge the WWE like WCW did in the 90's.

So vote YES or NO will wrestling ever hit the heights it hit in the 90's?

Yes, but not while Vince McMahon is in charge of the company. As long as WWE is around and has a stranglehold on wrestling, no.

Vince was also at the helm during the height of Hulkamania, and during the boom period of the late 90's. Besides, for the past 15 years we've been told that anything can happen on Monday Night Raw, so another boom period with Vincent Kennedy McMahon can happen.

Depends on what sort of competition is available.

WWE hit it's peak when? At the height of it's main competition's popularity. The WWE was forced to lift it's game in order to compete.

It would be like the LA Lakers competing each week against an under 12 kid's basketball team - no need to give it 100% because they can just cruise and still win.

Competition in Sport, Business or Politics keeps you on your toes and forces you to always be at your peak.

So will wrestling hit the heights of the 90's?

Gotta say Loose Cannon, but it's not an option .

Vince was also at the helm during the height of Hulkamania, and during the boom period of the late 90's.

Vince also wasn't almost completely unchallenged, and in a position to ruin other companies.

In fact, the Attitude Era might not have happened if not for the actions of a promotion Vince would have never let get big in the first place, if he had the market dominance he does today.

As far as "anything can happen," Have they said that in the last 5 years?

"Ever" is a long time... sooner or later it'll go through another boom period.

Flawed reasoning.

I think they can do it with WWE on top, just not with Vince in charge. Triple H will probably be a better booker than Vince, let's just hope Steph doesn't get the head booker position.
