Playing Music through my XBOX360

So I hooked my mp3 player up to my XBOX to play music whilst playing Pro Evo, however, it kept playing the first 5 seconds of each song before skipping to the next track.

Any reason for this?
Any solution to it?

It's a Samsung mp3 player BTW!

You can just put music on the hard drive

Ive never hooked up my mp3 player to it but I know you can put music on a jump drive and then plug it into the usb port and it works

Or stream it over the network... That's what I do.

yea... ive streamed mine using that Zune program thing. Also streamed videos that ive downloaded....

Sucks that only certain types of videos will work

I thought they had suport only for iPods and Zunes. That could be your problem.
