Since its the time of year where people are merry and jolly and giving and such, lets discuss something I was thinking about as I was going to sleep last night.
Which Wrestlers, WWE or TNA, do you think are really nice in the real world, outside of their profession?
I heard D-Von is a nice guy.

Mick Foley was nice when I met him..... but then again I guess he has to be nice at a autograph signing for one his books.

Based on real life encounters, both Briscoes from ROH are cool guys. Based on assumption, I'd love to get a beer with Jericho, Edge and the trio of Samoa Joe, Homicide and Punk (the latter can have a Pepsi).

D-Von Dudley was the first one I thought of.
A lot of WWE's stars seem like genuine cool guys... Jericho, Edge (When he ain't stealing his mate's girlfriend), CM Punk, Michaels, Cena, Chavo, Rey etc etc.
Booker T seems like a nice guy too.

Randy Orton - he opened an orphanage for kittens in his spare time.

My brother has a pic of him and Mick Foley that was taken at an air port before the first time he came home from Iraq. Also, if you read Foley's last book he talks about the time and money he has given to chairty. So yea, Foley is a nice dude.
Tully Blanchard also seems nice.
So I guess anyone has a strong faith seems to be nice. HBK, The Million Dollar Man, Sting....

Triple H: Nice
HBK: Nice
Bret Hart: Nice
D-Von: Nice
Ray: Asshole
Samoa Joe: Met him three times, he was nice 2 times and an asshole the last time, guest he had a bad day.
Mick Foley: Nicest guy I've met in the business.
Chris Jericho, Edge Christian: Met them in a bar in Toronto, it was a funny time.

Did he then proceed to RKO one of them and do his pose?

The only person from wrestling I have met was April Hunter when she was doing a Chaotic Wrestling event in Worcester like 4 or 5 years ago, got her autograph, she seemed nice, my friend got her autograph on his forehead :D
By the way, very nice to look at as well ;)

Hey, don't knock on Orton. He once autographed a hundred dollar bill for a fan!

I've met quite a few the last few years, and most have been really cool like Jericho, Angle, Foley, Austin and Christian.
I tried to meet Rey this past February at an Autorama show here but didn't due to how poorly organized it was. Waited in line for 3 hours cus of a huge ass line, then Rey comes down from the table with about 10 minuted left and people just rushed the ropes. Though I will say that he tried to sign as many as possible on his way out the door.
I'll say Edge was cool, but I did give him a smart ass comment, so he gave me one back, lol.
Even met Batista once, and he was kind cool, but also really quiet too. Don't know if he didn't really want to be there or what.

Isn't Batista just always quiet?
I met Marty Jannetty. He was pretty nice. He wasn't even on the card though, he just did a run in for the 1-2-3 Kid.

These guys always hit Kowloon's in Saugus after the Boston Shows. Meet BigShow, Rock, Mark Henry, Mick Foley, Shane and Steph, Test, Val Venis. Test was the biggest prick but everyone was down to earth. Sent Rock and Mark Henry drinks, they sent us tons of food.

I have had the luck of having WWE send 4 wrestlers down to my former office. The four who came were; Stacy Keibler, Orton, Batista, and Cena. And apparently I was the only one who actually knew who they were.
Keibler was hot and Orton actually was pretty nice. Cena was a real stand up guy. I felt bad for Batista because he hung back in the corner. I went up to him and said what's wrong. And he gave me the saddest eyes and said, "No one knows who I am." I felt bad for him.

Did you pat him on the back and offer him some milk and cookies to make it better?
Wow. Khali donates a major part of his income to his hometown. Eddie was great. Cena was friendly. Jericho was good. Stacy felt annoyed when I was looking at her...er ass.

Bret Hart is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, he came down from his own private booth during the memorial cup in 1999 just to talk to me for 10 minutes. He didn't need to but he did. Amazing experience.

Maybe Lara actually looks like Sunny? And for the record, I do believe the Sunny/Bret Hart side of the story, and that they weren't doinking. Just had to say it.
One guy that I feel like I have to mention, is Mark Henry. Sure, he's injured most of the time, but during that time he does a lot of charity things for the WWE, and visits sick children in bed. Then there was that incident at the RAW XV show where he held up the "Owen Hart for Hall of Fame in 2008" sign. That's just a really classy move, in my opinion, especially given the risk of a heel doing something like that, and given that he's a really expendable performer for the WWE.
The Great Khali is also a pretty nice guy, apparently. He donates to his village, as someone brought up.
I believe Val Venis would be a nice guy. I'm not just saying that because I'm a mark for him. He's apparently studied philanthropy at the University of London, and Lance Storm has called the guy "too nice" to receive a push. It all seems to add up.
Kane also strikes me as a nice guy. I see a lot of similarities between him and Venis, actually. They're both bald, both underused by the WWE, both beloved by me, both allegedly have 36 inch penises, and while I'm not sure if he speaks it, Kane was apparently born in Spain, while Val Venis speaks Spanish. In all seriousness, though, Kane seems like a really well-spoken and respectful guy.
Trish Stratus has always struck me as nice. She's done a lot of charity work (even away from the WWE), and she wasn't content with being a piece of ass.
Then there is Chris Jericho and Mick Foley, as people have thrown out there.

Just out of curiosity: is there a story behind D-Von being a nice guy? I don't doubt it, but I'm just not aware of the story attached to it.
Mr. Nerfect
12-23-2007, 01:57 AM
Oh, and I'm pretty sure Joey Styles would be a very nice guy. He's not a wrestler, but still a wrestling personality.
And Christian has always sounded like a really cool guy.

balls Mahoney, Dean Malenko, David, Ric, and Beth (and whatever ric's other sons name), RVD, Sabu, are the wrestlers I have met.
RVD was awesome
Balls Was nice as hell,
Malenko was cool
Ric was eh kind of a jerk but he told me to go to OVW
david was cool but he was annoyed when I asked him if he was wrestling anywhere.
Sabu just whispered something to RVD and ran off.

I went up to the security guards that were around the entrance to his box and asked if he was coming down at anytime that night they went up to ask him and 5 minutes later he came down, there was me and one other kid there at the time. He signed the other kid's stuff, hen that kid left and he stayed to talk to me for 10 minutes or so.

Only wrestler I've met properly like had a conversation with is Bryan Danielson, he was as nice as could be. Talking about his career and how he worked for the WWE and stuff, it's good when the wrestlers are like that.
Mick Foley seems such a genuine guy as well.

Buff shoulder checked me at an indy show for no reason. Didn't even say excuse me or nothing.
D-Von was cool, I shook his hand. Ray is an asshole, but a funny one. I can't hate someone who sings an Eddie Money song.
