I've watched the show, but never really watched. I love metal and the cartoon intergues me. Someone explain what is going on.

Dethklok, the popular band in that universe, enjoy misadventures and concerts that comedically kill off alot of their own fans to songs somewhat worth listening to. Some of the real comedy occurs when they're not performing and having silly convos with each other.

I like it.

The through-line of the show is that Dethklok is inadvertantly using metal to overthrow a secret fascist conspiracy that has been controlling the world for years (only Dethklok doesn't know about any of that, because they're really just a bunch of idiots). The conspiracy-folks repeatedly try to shut them down, and hilarity ensues.

But yeah, it's an awesome show. Reminds me a lot of This is Spinal Tap.

I used to have Awaken as my cell phone ring but it scared the crap out of me everytime that it played.
