2008 will be MAKE IT or BREAK IT for WWE.

I don't know what WILL happen, but I've got a wish list for the new years...

NO DQ (maybe a Ladder or Cage or something else) - ECW Title Match
CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. John Morrison

Uh, not a long list, but I'd pay dollar-dollar for that match.

TOVO Fact: Tovo is uncomfortable around little people.

WWE will take down brand barriers entirely, but the brands will still be intact.

Randy Orton will be released due to Steroids. He takes about 6 months off and returns.

Ken Kennedy will be sent to SmackDown! and become World Heavyweight Champion.

Val Venis will retire and become a Producer.

MVP will be moved to RAW and become a top player and be one of the top picks for the Royal Rumble 2009. He will likely change his name and attire, but keep the gimmick.

Rob Van Dam will resign with WWE and regret it.

Paul Heyman will Foley it up and whore his new endeavor on WWE TV. He reintroduces Brock Lesnar and manages him for a few weeks before disappearing.

Speaking of Foleying it Up, Foley will write "Mr. Socko's Big City Stinko".

TNA will lose a major player to WWE. It's true. It's DAMN true.

TNA will change the X Division championship's name after Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash become long-reigning champions.

Rellik will change his name to Reb'boj. (It's French.)

Ring of Honor gets a small TV deal on some shitty channel.

A new controversy will rock the wrestling world and WWE to its VERY FOUNDATION. It will go down as being bigger than Montreal.

John Cena will turn heel and GASP! people will find him entertaining

Bobby Lashley and Triple H will capture World titles

Vince McMahon will fall over on the ramp due to his power walk becoming to complicated

WWE will be in a better position @ this time next year

COdy Rhodes is gold as long as fat daddy-o is booking somewhere.

The Motor City Machine Guns will quit TNA because they are too sweet for the shit they get booked in. They will go to Japan.

The WWE will create NO new stars, nor any new Main eventers. Once Cena is back he will run rough shot over hosses again.

Flair will retire and it will NOT be a great moment like it should be, he will job to Vince then get hit in the balls by Linda on his way out.

TNA will continue Mosh Booking, and they will finish the year in the saem spot they are now.

Hornswoggle will be fired once they realize how big a waste he is.

MCMG are already going to Japan.

And I wouldn't mind seeing them quit TNA.

WWE wise.

Dancing Dave "Bats" Batista will get a title shot each week he doesn't hold the belt.

Hardy WILL win the title and will fued with Triple H when he turns heel.

Cena will come back and will be "in on this fued" with Trips and Randy teaming here and there with Shawn and Kennedy continuing their fued tying in here and there.

Samoan big man Umanga will fued with Lashley

Jericho may get the IC title and Bradshaw will want it off him

Some stupid "Z list" celebrities will enter the rumble and make a dick of it as usual rather than have 30 proper wrestlers in there.

The draft will be shit.

Kennedy is moved to ECW and has a great feud with CM Punk that he unfortunately loses and ends up even lower on the WWE totem pole. Guess he shouldn't have busted Cena's titty. Oops!

Cena wrestles Hogan at Summerslam and teases a heel turn leading up to it, but never turns, much to the IWC's chagrin. Guess who fucking wins, people.

Triple H goes to Smackdown in September to bury the rising star of Matt Hardy, but wins the Royal Rumble and immediately moves back to RAW in January, leaving Matt buried in mid-card hell.

HBK will retire, sadly.

World Wrestling Entertainment wishes (Big Daddy V, Mark Henry, Chuck Palumbo, Trevor Murdoch, Charlie Haas, and Val Venis (sorry 'Noid)) the very best in their future endeavors, so long as they don't go to TNA where...

Things actually get better once they decide to put the axe on the worthless and unentertaining angles and wrestlers. They score a 4.5 rating for Impact when Jeff Jarrett fires Don Callis on-air and introduces Paul Heyman as the new announcer.

RVD goes to TNA and has several barn burners with the likes of AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, and Kurt Angle. His match with Sting is heavily hyped, but inevitably sucks.

Maria Canellis poses for Playboy (please, God, I beg you).

Chris Jericho will save us.

John Cena will return to the 2nd biggest pop in history, behind CM Punk's at Survivor Series 2006.

John Cena will win the title in his return match in a 29-on-1 handicap elimination match.

John Cena will be the first man on Mars and defeat the Martian invasion force.

John Cena's new movie 'The Clown' will break box office records worldwide and result in John coming out to the ring every match dressed as a clown, pausing at the top of the ramp to spray water from a sneaky flower on his coat.

Paul/Cena 2008 will sweep to power in the US elections. Spoiler - Paul/Cena wins....

The Rock will make his return to the WWE and lose to John Cena.

John Cena enters EVERY EVENT for the US at the Olympics and wins golds at them all. Kurt Angle enters the wrestling event to challenge him, with a broken freaking neck and a broken freaking will, and loses to Cena - although he still gets cheers, despite calling the fans 'drug ridden freaks who steal houses'.

John Cena will successfully time travel from the future to Armageddon 2008 where he will face himself for the title. Cena wins, but then transports back to a minute before that and interferes in his own match costing himself the victory against himself. In a sense, all the Cena's win.

MVP, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will be big stars to watch in 2008. Jeff Hardy is on a PPV poster, and MVP is on the rise. These three men will all help each other stick to the roof, even if it's just by association.

The Triple H hating will get strong again when he turns heel, but doesn't take the next step into being entertaining, and doesn't participate in a good program.

Shawn Michaels retirement rumours will spark up, as dirt sheets report that Michaels is unhappy, and his knees are still bothering him. He might actually go legitimately part-time, but he will still be a major player heading into 2009.

Chris Jericho will actually win the WWE Championship, when he shows signs of already becoming fed up with the WWE again, which gives them a "Carlito scare." The "Carlito scare" will actually become a bit of a problem for the WWE, as they've had to accommodate Carlito and Chris Jericho since it happened, so they'll introduce some kind of unofficial punishment system for guys who speak out against the company. TNA will become a threat to the WWE via this method, and only this method.

I believe the WWE will actually get a bit of restored interest into the Tag Team Championship (at least one of them), and Paul London & Brian Kendrick will actually get a bit of a push towards them. Nothing epic, but they're on the roster and were moved to RAW for a reason.

I honestly believe Val Venis will get a bit of a push when he returns. Again, nothing substantial, but I think he will be used on RAW for a few weeks, and even get his first pinfall/submission win on RAW in years. The WWE will then lose interest and it'll be back to Heat for Val.

Unfortunately, I think Kane may retire, or start winding down his career further. :(

Rob Van Dam will re-sign with World Wrestling Entertainment, and become a fresh top face for the ECW brand.

John Cena will turn heel, and actually become more popular than he was a bland babyface. People will talk about how much Cena has "improved," while it is apparent that he's had that talent all along, he just never got the chance to show it.

The year will actually be pretty good by modern WWE standards, but nothing great. People will have some hope for 2009, though.

Mr. Nerfect

As for TNA:

* 2008 will be Sting's last year with the company, and TNA won't even make an offer for him to come back. This will start the movement to rid TNA of all/most of its older talent (except for guys like Kurt Angle and Booker T).

* Christian Cage will win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship off Kurt Angle, and then lose the belt to Samoa Joe. This will be a time when people either say "TNA is doing something right, we should watch" or "Joe is gay, TNA is still gay," but it will mark some change in direction for TNA.

* I actually believe there will be more releases than hirings in TNA in 2008.

* 2008 will be a good step forward for the promotion.

Predictions for 2008:

Kurt Angle will return to WWE and end his career on a high

RVD will return to WWE and a high will end his career

Kennedy will continue to not fit in on the Raw roster, and eventually get bumped back to Smackdown in the post-WM draft

MVP will win the World Heavyweight Title in late 2008

Kane will continue to look fat and unthreatening and probably retire

Matt Hardy will win the US Title at Wrestlemania

Hogan will come back for 'one more match', but not until after the divorce so he doesn't have to cut his million dollar payoff in half

The Raw Title Picture post-WM will be nothing but Cena, Triple H and Bobby Lashley

C M Punk will get depushed and lose even more heat

John Morrison will win another ECW Title match

*Cryme Tyme will get re-hired (as they should).

*Shelton Benjamin will get another push (perhaps his last one ever if he screws it up this time)

*Ric Flair will retire as a competitor

*HBK will retire as a competitor (knees are in horrible shape). I'm going out on a limb on this one.

Ratings will dip to an average of about 2.5 by the end of the year for Raw. Jeff Hardy will be to blame, though he was fired before the dip began.

Santino Marella will do the exact same thing he's been doing for months, and at some point, the IWC will turn on him, claiming he's no longer doing something, or now he's got an attitude, or something.

Batista will have ten title shots. That's a fairly safe bet right there.

Jeff Hardy probably will have a brief run coming up, and that's still kind of safe.

Despite a lack of fan response, John Cena will still be the biggest merch mover. Rey Mysterio will narrowly beat out the 'Swog for "littlest."

Speaking of Hornswoggle, I actually see this continuing for the next year, or at least most of it. Does that soud crazy to anyone else?

Jericho will "burn out" in a couple of months. Smarks will blame WWE for not pushing him hard enough, and WWE will blame Jeff Hardy.

Vince will have three more breakdowns.

I have a feeling someone else is going to self destruct this year, like Benoit did this last. I hope I'm wrong, but...

Hardy wins title, Jericho wins rumble, Orton wins back title, Jeff uses his 'rematch clause' and gets in the main event for wrestlemania, which becomes Y2J V Orton V Jeff Hardy. Matt wins US title from MVP at WM and they continue to feud, while MVP forms an alliance with Edge which somehow makes another Edge/Matt feud happen over the world heavyweight title. Oh yeah, Jericho wins the WWE title at WM.

Edge ends Takers winning streak at WM by retaining his heavyweight title. Lashley wins the MITB ladder match and goes on to win the wwe title at some point. Santino and Carlito have ic/tag title runs through out the year. Cody Rhodes also gets a short ic title run and feuds with Holly. Cena returns and feuds with orton for revenge on causing him injury. Cena eventually goes to feud for the wwe title as will HHH. Umaga will be in the same old feuds. Jeff Hardy may get another ic title run. Flair would've retired by then. HBK will be putting more people over as usual. That's all i can think of atm.

<font color=goldenrod>-Kane will either officially retire or go inactive. Should he retire, he'll probably have his career ended on screen by somebody.

-Carlito and Santino will win the World Tag Team Titles.

-John Cena will turn heel at some point during the year, probably around mid-year

-CM Punk will be moved to Raw in the post WM draft

-Jericho and Punk will feud in some way

-Mr. Kennedy will be headed back to Smackdown in the draft

-Rey Mysterio will be moved to ECW in the draft as a way of making it look like they actually got a big name talent (not like it matters because the SD/ECW Exchange will continue)

-Ratings for Smackdown/ECW will go down big time leading WWE to make a drastic change.

-Survivor Series will see a Raw vs. SD/ECW Elimination Match with the winning brand "taking over", effectively ending the split.

-It'll feel alot like post-Invasion heading into 2009. The big names from the losing side will show up on programming still, having "signed new contracts" or some nonsense. After Christmas break, discussions will then take place on what to do with all of the other talent and mass cuts will take place to open up 2009.</font>

WWE:
-Jericho will win the Royal Rumble. He will win the title from Orton at Wrestlemania.

-Jericho and Orton will trade the title back until Cena returns, and starts up a feud with Orton and Jericho.

-Jeff Hardy will hold the WWE title before the year is out. I'm guessing Summerslam is when he will win.

-Matt Hardy vs. MVP for the US Title will happen at Wrestlemania. Match of the night.

-The Intercontinental title will FINALLY be defended at Wrestlemania.

-Ric Flair will be defeated at Wrestlemania by HHH.

-Flair will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame, along with Arn Anderson, Ricky Steamboat and...Sting.

-John Cena will parachute into Wrestlemania for no reason whatsoever just to tell the fans he will be gunning for the title when he returns.

-Lashley will return at the Royal Rumble. He will be booed heavily despite being a face.

-CM Punk will move to Smackdown after losing the ECW title.

-Colt Cabana will debut as a lounge singer turned wrestler.

-Ken Kennedy and Hornswoggle will both be wish the best of luck in their future endeavors.

-This year, WWE will do yet ANOTHER gimmick that is stupid/offensive, people will complain, yet they will still keep watching.

-Yet, I can also see WWE starting to get serious due to UFC continuing to rise.

-Congress will finally have a hearing on steroids in wrestling.

TNA:
-This year, serious rumors will begin to make the rounds that Panda is considering pulling the plug on funding TNA unless things change before the year is out.

-TNA will get more WWE rejects as they are released, and further divide the company.

-A mass exodus of young talent will leave TNA for WWE or back on the indies.

-Joe will leave the company for Japan.

-TNA will become the biggest money pit since WCW.

-Tenay and West will get into a legit shouting match live on Pay Per View which will then be turned into an angle. Tenay vs. West in a bare knuckle boxing match is set for Bound For Glory.

-The X-Division title will be phased out.

ROH
-The first ever two time World Champion will be crowned this year.

-ROH's PPV deal will be renewed.

Misc.

-Paul Heyman will attempt to start up something in the MMA world

Val Venus will get Maria to be his Valet since she did Playboy and he's a "porn star", thus leading to Ron Jeremy coming into the WWE and challenging Venus to a match where the winner gets to do a shoot with Maria.

The match will be a ladder match with a camcorder hanging up top, which Venus gets ahold of and wins the match. When the video gets released, it will feature instead of Venus and Maria....McMahon and one of the midgets from the "Wizard Of Oz" getting it on...showing how The Swog came into the world.
